सासासासा....काकाकाका....निनिनिनि.... 105(अअअअ)....----केन्द्र सरकार, मोटर यान अधिनियम, 1988 (1988 का 59) की धारा 8, धारा 9, धारा 11, धारा 12, धारा 15, धारा 27, धारा 51, धारा 64 और धारा 88 द्वारा प्रदत्त षक्तियों का प्रयोग करते हुए, केन्द्रीय मोटर यान नियम, 1989 का और संषोधन करने के लिए, निम्नलिखित प्रारूप नियम बनाने का प्रस्ताव करती है, जिसे उक्त अधिनियम की धारा 212 की उपधारा (1) द्वारा यथापेक्षित उनके द्वारा संभाव्य प्रभावित सभी व्यक्तियों की जानकारी के लिए प्रकाषित किया जाता है और नोटिस दिया जाता है कि जब इस अधिसूचना की प्रतियॉं, भारत के राजपत्र में यथाप्रकाषित, साधारण जनता को उपलब्ध करा दी जाती हैं, तब उक्त प्रारूप नियमों पर उस तारीख से सात दिन की अवधि की समाप्ति के पष्चात् विचार किया जाएगा;
2. इन प्रारूप नियमों की बाबत, आक्षेप या सुझाव, यदि कोई हो, संयुक्त सचिव(परिवहन), भारत सरकार, सड़क परिवहन और राजमार्ग मंत्रालय, परिवहन भवन, संसद मार्ग, नई दिल्ली-110001 को भेजे जा सकेंगें।
3. केन्द्रीय सरकार द्वारा उक्त प्रारूप नियमों की बाबत् ऐसे किन्ही आक्षेपों और सुझावों पर, जो किसी व्यक्ति से पूर्वोक्त अवधि की समाप्ति से पूर्व प्राप्त हों, विचार किया जाएगा।

1. (1) इन नियमों का संक्षिप्त नाम केन्द्रीय मोटर यान (....................संषोधन) नियम, 2017 है।
(2) इन नियमों में यथा उपबंधित के सिवाए, ये राजपत्र में उनके अंतिम प्रकाषन की तारीख को प्रवृत होंगें।
2. केन्द्रीय मोटर यान नियम, 1989, -
(i) नियम 32 में, परंतुक में 'राज्यों द्वारा उद्गृहीत की जा सकती हैं', षब्दों के पश्चात् ' सारणी में विनिर्दिष्ट राषि से कम फीस और उद्गृहीत भी की जा सकती है' षब्दों को अंतःस्थापित किया जाएगा;

NOTIFICATION
New Delhi, the 3rd February, 2017
G.S.R. 105(E).—The following draft rules further to amend the Central Motor Vehicles Rules, 1989, which the Central Government proposes to make in exercise of the powers conferred under Sections 8, 9, 11, 12, 15, 27, 51, 64 and 88 of the Motor Vehicles Act, 1988 (59 of 1988) is hereby published as required by sub-section (1) of Section 212 of the said Act for information of all persons likely to be affected thereby and notice is hereby given that the said draft rules will be taken into consideration after expiry of a period of seven days from the date on which the copies of this notification as published in the Gazette of India are made available to the public.
Objections or suggestions, if any, may be sent to the Joint Secretary (Transport), Ministry of Road Transport and Highways, Transport Bhawan, Parliament Street, New Delhi 110 001.
Any objections or suggestions which may be received from any person with respect to the said draft rules before the expiry of the period aforesaid shall be considered by the Central Government.
DRAFT RULES
1. (1) These rules may be called the Central Motor Vehicles ( ______Amendment) Rules, 2017.
(2) Save as otherwise provided in these rules, they shall come into force on the date of their final publication in the Official Gazette.
2. In the Central Motor Vehicles Rules, 1989,-
(i) in rule 32, in the proviso, after the words "States may levy", the words "fee lower than the amount specified in the table and may also levy" shall be inserted;
(ii) in rule 81,in the proviso, after the words "States may levy", the words "fee lower than the amount specified in the table and may also levy" shall be inserted;
