NOTIFICATION

New Delhi, the 31st January, 2017

S.O. 374(E).— In exercise of the powers conferred by clause (37A) of Section 2 of the Railways Act, 1989 (24 of 1989), the Central Government hereby notifies Tarakeshwar- Bishnupur new Broad Gauge rail line project as a Special Railway Project for acquisition of balance 138.11 acre land, having length of 12.54 Km (Km 42.745 to Km 53.985 & Km 55.10 to Km 56.40) between Kamarpukur and Mayanapur stations in Bankura district in the State of West Bengal, for providing national infrastructure for a public purpose with effect from the date of publication of this notification in the Official Gazette.
