—महापत्तन न्यास अधिनियम, 1963 (1963 के 38) की धारा 3 की उप-धारा (6) के साथ पठित उपधारा (1) के खंड (ग) द्वारा प्रदत्त शक्तियों का प्रयोग करते हुए तथा भारत सरकार में पोत परिवहन मंत्रालय की अधिसूचना सा.का.नि. 451(अ) दिनांक 26.04.2016 में आंशिक संशोधन करते हुए, केंद्र सरकार एतद्द्वारा श्री ए. के. सरन, निदेशक, पोत परिवहन मंत्रालय को चेन्नई पत्तन न्यास के न्यासी बोर्ड में श्री बी. कृष्णामूर्ति, तत्कालीन उप सचिव, पोत परिवहन मंत्रालय के स्थान पर 31.03.2018 तक की अवधि के लिए न्यासी के रूप में नियुक्त करती है।
2. उक्त नियुक्ति तत्काल प्रभाव से लागू होगी ।

NOTIFICATION
New Delhi, the 20th June, 2017
G.S.R. 612(E).— In exercise of the powers conferred by clause (c) of sub- section (1) read with sub-section (6) of Section 3 of the Major Port Trusts Act, 1963 (38 of 1963) and in partial modification of the Notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Shipping G.S.R. 451(E) dated 26.04.2016, the Central Government hereby appoints Shri A.K. Saran, Director, Ministry of Shipping to be a trustee on the Board of Chennai Port Trust in place of Shri B. Krishnamoorthy, the then Deputy Secretary, Ministry of Shipping for the existing term up to 31.03.2018.
2. The said appointment shall come into force with immediate effect.
