सा.का.नि. 641(अ).—कें द्रीय सरकार, सिक्का निर्माण अधिनियम, 2011 (2011 का 11) की धारा 24 की उप-धारा (2) के खंड (घ) और (ड.) द्वारा प्रदत्त शक्तियों का प्रयोग करते हुए, निम्नलिखित नियम बनाती है, अर्थात् :–
1. संक्षिप्त नाम और प्रारम्भ :- (1) इन नियमों का नाम ("श्रीमद् राजचन्द्र की 150वीं जयंती" के अवसर पर स्मारक सिक्के जारी करना) सिक्का निर्माण नियम, 2017 है ।
(2) ये राजपत्र में प्रकाशन की तारीख को प्रवृत्त होंगे ।
2. सिक्कों का अंकित मूल्य-- "श्रीमद् राजचन्द्र की 150वीं जयंती" को मनाने के लिए के न्द्रीय सरकार के प्राधिकार के अधीन जारी करने हेतु टकसाल में निम्नलिखित अंकित मूल्य के सिक्कों का निर्माण किया जाएगा, अर्थात् :–
(i) एक सौ पचास रुपये;
(ii) दस रुपये;
3. सिक्कों की विमाएं और संरचना --- नियम 2 में उल्लिखित अंकित मूल्य के सिक्के निम्नलिखित विमाओं और संरचना के अनुरूप होंगे, अर्थात् :–

4. डिज़ाइन – सिक्कों का डिज़ाइन इन नियमों की प्रथम अनुसूची में निर्दिष्ट किए अनुसार होगा ।
5. मानक वजन तथा अनुज्ञात छू ट: "श्रीमद् राजचन्द्र की 150वीं जयंती" को मनाने के लिए बनाए गए निम्नलिखित अंकित मूल्य के सिक्कों का मानक वजन और ऐसे सिक्कों को बनाने में अनुज्ञात छू ट वह होगी जो इन नियमों की द्वितीय अनुसूची में विनिर्दिष्ट होगी।
प्रथम अनुसूची
(नियम 4 देखें)
(i) एक सौ पचास रुपये
अग्र भाग
सिक्के के मुख भाग पर मध्य में अशोक स्तम्भ का सिंह शीर्ष होगा, जिसके नीचे "सत्यमेव जयते" उत्कीर्णित होगा, उसकी बायीं परिधि पर देवनागरी लिपि में "भारत" शब्द और दायीं परिधि पर अंग्रेजी में "INDIA" शब्द होगा और सिंह शीर्ष के नीचे रुपया का प्रतीक " " और अंतर्राष्ट्रीय अंकों में अंकित मूल्य "150" भी होगा ।

सिक्के के इस भाग पर मध्य में "श्रीमद् राजचन्द्र" का चित्र होगा, सिक्के की बायीं ऊपरी परिधि तथा बायीं निचली परिधि पर देवनागरी लिपि में क्रमश: "श्रीमद् राजचन्द्र'' और ''150वीं जयंती" और दायीं ऊपरी परिधि तथा दायीं निचली परिधि पर अंग्रेजी में क्रमश:
"SHRIMAD RAJCHANDRA" और ''150TH Birth Anniversary'' उत्कीर्णित होगा। श्रीमद् राजचन्द्र के चित्र के बायीं ओर "1867" और दायीं ओर ''1901'' अंतरराष्ट्रीय अंकों में लिखा होगा।
(ii) दस रुपये
अग्र भाग

NOTIFICATION
New Delhi, the 23rd June, 2017.
G.S.R 641(E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by clauses (d) and (e) of sub-section (2) of section 24 of the Coinage Act, 2011 (11 of 2011), the Central Government hereby makes the following rules, namely:-
1. Short title and commencement.- (1) These rules may be called the Coinage (Issue of Commemorative coins on the occasion of 150th Birth Anniversary of Shrimad Rajchandra) Rules, 2017.
(2) They shall come into force on the date of their publication in the Official Gazette.
2. Denomination of coins.- The coins of the following denominations shall also be coined at the Mint for issue under the authority of the Central Government to commemorate the occasion of "150th BIRTH ANNIVERSARY OF SHRIMAD RAJCHANDRA", namely:-
(1) One Hundred Fifty Rupees; and (2) Ten Rupees.
3. Dimension and composition of coins.- The coins of the denominations mentioned in rule 2 shall conform to the following dimensions and composition, namely:-

4. Design.- The design of the coins shall be as specified in the First Schedule to these Rules.
5. Standard weight and remedy allowed.– The standard weight of the coins of the following denominations, coined to commemorate the occasion of "150th Birth Anniversary of Shrimad Rajchandra" and the remedy allowed in making of such coins shall be as specified in the Second Schedule to these rules.
The First Schedule

(i) ONE HUNDRED FIFTY RUPEES
OBVERSE:
The face of the coin shall bear the Lion Capitol of Ashoka Pillar in the centre with the legend "सत्यमेव जयते"
inscribed below, flanked on the left periphery with the word "भारत" in Devnagri script and on the right periphery with the word "INDIA" in English, and it shall also bear the Rupee symbol "`" and denominational value "150" in International Numerals below the Lion Capitol.
REVERSE:
This face of the coin shall bear the portrait of "SHRIMAD RAJCHANDRA" in the centre. The inscription "श्रीमद्
राजचंद्र" and "150 वीं जयंती" shall be written on upper left and lower left periphery of the coin in Devnagri script. The inscription "SHRIMAD RAJCHANDRA" and "150TH Birth Anniversary" shall be written on the upper right and lower right periphery of the coin respectively. The year "1867" and "1901" in international numerals shall be written on the left and right side of the portrait of Shrimad Rajchandra.
(ii) TEN RUPEES

The face of the coin shall bear the Lion Capitol of Ashoka Pillar in the centre with the legend "सत्यमेव जयते"
