सा.का.नि. 649(अ).—राष्ट्रपति, संविधान के अनुच्छेद 309 के परन्तुक द्वारा प्रदत्त शक्तियों का प्रयोग करते हुए, डाक विभाग (निम्न चयन ग्रेड पद) भर्ती नियमावली, 2011 में संशोधन करने के लिए निम्नलिखित नियम बनाते हैं, अर्थातः- 1. (क) इन नियमों का संक्षिप्त नाम डाक विभाग (निम्न चयन ग्रेड पद) भर्ती (संशोधन) नियम 2017 है।

(ख) ये, राजपत्र में इनके प्रकाशन की तारीख को प्रवृत्त होंगे।

2. संचार मंत्रालय, डाक विभाग (निम्न चयन ग्रेड पद) भर्ती नियम, 2011 में -

(क) नियम 2 में, शब्द ''वेतन बैंड और ग्रेड वेतन अथवा वेतनमान'' दो स्थानों पर आते हैं, के स्थान पर शब्द ''वेतन मेट्रिक्स में स्तर'' रखे जाएंगे;

(ख) अनुसूची में, -

i) डाकघरों में निम्न चयन ग्रेड के पद से संबंधित क्रम संख्या 1 में, -

(अ) स्तंभ (4) में शीर्षक के स्थान पर निम्नलिखित शीर्षक रखा जाएगा, अर्थात्‌ :-

''वेतन मेट्रिक्स में स्तर'' ;

(आ) स्तंभ (4) के अधीन प्रविष्टि के स्थान पर निम्नलिखित प्रविष्टि रखी जाएगी, अर्थात्‌ :-

''वेतन मेट्रिक्स में स्तर - 5'' ;

(इ) स्तंभ (12) के अधीन, प्रविष्टि ''5200-20200 रू. 2400 रू. के ग्रेड वेतन के साथ वेतन बैंड - 1'' के स्थान पर निम्नलिखित प्रविष्टि रखी जाएगी, अर्थात्‌ -

''वेतन मेट्रिक्स में स्तर - 4'' ;

ii) रेलवे मेल सेवा कार्यालयों में निम्न चयन ग्रेड के पद से संबंधित क्रम संख्या 2 में, -

(अ) स्तंभ (4) के अधीन प्रविष्टि के स्थान पर निम्नलिखित प्रविष्टि रखी जाएगी, अर्थात्‌ :-

''वेतन मेट्रिक्स में स्तर - 5'' ;

(अ) स्तंभ (4) के अधीन शीर्षक के स्थान पर निम्नलिखित प्रविष्टि रखी जाएगी, अर्थात्‌ :-

''वेतन मेट्रिक्स में स्तर - 5'' ;

ix) बचत बैंक नियंत्रण संगठन में निम्न चयन ग्रेड के पद से संबंधित क्रम संख्या 9 में -भारत का राजपत्रा : असाधरण [भाग IIखण्ड 3(i)] 3 (अ) स्तंभ (4) के अधीन प्रविष्टि के स्थान पर निम्नलिखित प्रविष्टि रखी जाएगी, अर्थात्‌ :-

G.S.R. 649(E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by the proviso to article 309 of the Constitution, the President hereby makes the following rules to amend the Department of Posts (Lower Selection Grade Posts) Recruitment Rules, 2011, namely:-

1. (1) These rules may be called the Department of Posts (Lower Selection Grade Posts) Recruitment (Amendment) Rules, 2017.

(2) They shall come into force on the date of their publication in the Official Gazette.

2. In the Ministry of Communications, Department of Posts (Lower Selection Grade Posts) Recruitment Rules, 2011,-

(a) in rule 2, for the words "pay band and grade pay/scale of pay" at both the places where they occur, the words "level in the pay matrix" shall be substituted;

(b) in the Schedule,-

(i) in serial no. 1 relating to the post of Lower Selection Grade in Post Offices,-

A. in column (4), for the heading, the following heading shall be substituted, namely :-

"Level in the Pay Matrix"

(A) under column (4), for the entry, the following entry shall be substituted, namely:-

"Level – 5 in the Pay Matrix;"

(B) under column (12), for the entry, "Pay Band – 1 of Rs. 5200-20200 + Grade Pay Rs. 2400", the following entry shall be substituted, namely :-

"Level – 4 in the Pay Matrix";

(ii) in serial no. 2 relating to the post of Lower Selection Grade in Railway Mail Service Offices,- (A) under column (4), for the entry, the following entry shall be substituted, namely :-

(2) ये, राजपत्र में इनके प्रकाशन की तारीख को प्रवृत्त होंगे।

(ख) अनुसूची में, -

i) डाकघरों में उच्चतर चयन ग्रेड - I के पद से संबंधित क्रम संख्या 1 में, -

(अ) स्तंभ (4) में शीर्षक के स्थान पर निम्नलिखित शीर्षक रखा जाएगा, अर्थात्‌ :-

''वेतन मेट्रिक्स में स्तर'' ;

''वेतन मेट्रिक्स में स्तर - 7'' ;
