सं. भा.आ.प.-34(41)/2017-मेड./122452.—भारतीय आयुर्विज्ञान परिषद् अधिनियम, 1956 (1956 का 102) की धारा 33 द्वारा प्रदत्त शक्तियों का इस्तेमाल करते हुए भारतीय आयुर्विज्ञान परिषद्, "स्नातक चिकित्सा शिक्षा पर विनियमावली, 1997" को पुनः संशोधित करने के लिए केंद्र सरकार की पूर्व स्वीकृति से एतद्द्वारा निम्नलिखित नियम बनाती है, नामतः-
1. (i) इन विनियमों को "स्नातक चिकित्सा शिक्षा पर विनियमावली (संशोधन) विनियमावली, 2017" कहा जाएगा।
(ii) ये सरकारी राजपत्र में उनके प्रकाशन की तारीख से प्रवृत्त होंगे।
2. "स्नातक चिकित्सा शिक्षा पर विनियमावली, 1997" के खंड 7(6) में उप-खंड 7(6कक) के पश्चात निम्नलिखित जोड़ा जाएगाः-
"(6ककक)- विश्वविद्यालय और अन्य संबंधित प्राधिकरण केवल शैक्षिक वर्ष 2017-18 के लिए परिशिष्ट 'च' में दर्शाई गई समय-सारणी के अनुसार दाखिला प्रक्रिया आयोजित करेंगे।"
3. "स्नातक चिकित्सा शिक्षा पर विनियमावली, 1997" में परिशिष्ट 'च' में निम्नलिखित सारणी जोड़ी जाएगी :
परिशिष्ट-'च' (प्रथम एमबीबीएस पाठ्यक्रम के लिए दाखिला प्रक्रिया पूरी करने हेतु समय-सारणी) (शैक्षिक सत्र 2017-18)

टिप्पणीः
1. कार्यारंभ की अंतिम तारीख अर्थात 16 अगस्त, 2017 के पश्चात अखिल भारतीय कोटा सीटों (15 प्रतिशत) की बाकी बची रिक्त सीटें, राज्य के कोटा में रूपांतरित मानी जाएगी।
2. 31 मई के पश्चात अनुमतिप्राप्त संस्थान/कॉलेज/पाठ्यक्रम पर, चालू शैक्षिक वर्ष के लिए दाखिले/सीटों के आबंटन हेतु विचार नहीं किया जाएगा।
3. किसी भी परिस्थिति में, दाखिले/ कार्यारंभ की अंतिम तारीख, 31 अगस्त के पश्चात नहीं बढ़ाई जाएगी।
4. उपर्युक्त समय-सारणी का निष्ठापूर्ण पालन सुनिश्चित करने के उद्देश्य के लिए शनिवार, रविवार या अवकाशों (मंगलवार, 15 अगस्त को स्वतंत्रता दिवस के कारण राष्ट्रीय अवकाश को छोड़कर) को कार्य दिवस माना जाएगा।

AMENDMENT NOTIFICATION
New Delhi, the 4 th July, 2017
No. MCI-34(41)/2017-Med./122452.—In exercise of the powers conferred by Section 33 of the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956 (102 of 1956), the Medical Council of India with the previous sanction of the Central Government, hereby makes the following Regulations to further amend the "Regulations on Graduate Medical Education, 1997", namely: -
1. (i) These Regulations may be called the "Regulations on Graduate Medical Education Amendment, 2017".
(ii) They shall come into force from the date of their publication in the Official Gazette.
2. In Clause 7(6) of the "Regulations on Graduate Medical Education 1997" , after sub clause 7(6AA), the following shall be added as under:-
(6AAA) – The Universities and other authorities concerned for the academic year 2017-18 only shall organise admission process in accordance with the Time Schedule indicated in Appendix 'F'.

Note:
1. All India Quota Seats (15%) remaining vacant after last date for joining, i.e. 16th August, 2017 will be deemed to be converted into state quota.
2. Institute/college/courses permitted after 31st May will not be considered for admission/allotment of seats for current academic year.
3. In any circumstances, last date for admission/joining will not be extended after 31st August. 4. For the purpose of ensuring faithful obedience to the above time-schedule, Saturday, Sunday or Holidays (except National Holiday on account of Independence Day on Tuesday, 15th August) shall be treated as working days.
