सा.का.नि. 837(अ).—केन्द्रीय सरकार, सशस्त्र सीमा बल अधिनियम, 2007 (2007 का 53) की धारा 155 की उपधारा (2) के खंड (क) और (ग) के साथ पठित उपधारा (1) द्वारा प्रदत्त शक्तियों का प्रयोग करते हुए सशस्त्र सीमा बल, समूह 'क' योधक इंजीनियरी काडर भर्ती नियम, 2015 में निम्नलिखित नियम संशोधन करती है, अर्थात :-
1. (1) इन नियमों का संक्षिप्त नाम सशस्त्र सीमा बल समूह 'क' योधक इंजीनियरी काडर पद भर्ती (संशोधन) नियम, 2017 है।
(2) ये राजपत्र में उनके प्रकाशन की तारीख को प्रवृत्त हाेंगे।
2. सशस्त्र सीमा बल, समूह 'क' योधक इंजीनियरी काडर भर्ती नियम 2015 में,-
(1) नियम 3 में, "वेतन बैंड और ग्रेड वेतन या वेतनमान" शब्दों के स्थान पर, दोनो स्थान पर आते है, "वेतन मैट्रिक्स में स्तर" शब्द रखें जाएंगे ;
(2) अनुसूची में,-
(क) महानिरीक्षक (संकर्म) के पद से संबंधित क्रम संख्या 1 के सामने,-
(i) स्तंभ (4) में शीर्षक और उससे संबंधित प्रविष्टियों के स्थान पर निम्नलिखित शीर्षक और प्रविष्टियां रखी जाएंगी, अर्थात :-

| स्तर - 14"; |

(II) टिप्पण-2, का लोप किया जाएगा ;
(आ) "प्रतिनियुक्ति" शीर्षक के अधीन प्रविष्टियों में,-
(I) खंड (क) के उपखंड (ii) में, "वेतन बैंड -4 ( 37400- 67000 रु. ) और ग्रेड वेतन 8900 रु." शब्दों और अंकों के स्थान पर "वेतन मैट्रिक्स में स्तर 13 क" रखे जाएंगे;
(II) टिप्पण-4, का लोप किया जाएगा ;
(ख) उपमहानिरीक्षक (संकर्म) के पद से संबंधित क्रम संख्या 2 के सामने,-
(i) स्तंभ (4) में, शीर्षक और उससे संबंधित प्रविष्टियों के स्थान पर निम्नलिखित शीर्षक और प्रविष्टियां रखी जाएंगी, अर्थात :-
"स्तर -13 क.";
(ii) स्तंभ (11) में ,-
(अ) "प्रोन्नति" शीर्षक के अधीन प्रविष्टयों में ,-
(I) शब्दों और अंकों के स्थान पर "वेतन बैंड -4 ( 37400- 67000 रु. ) और ग्रेड वेतन 8700 रुपए" "वेतन मैट्रिक्स में स्तर 13" शब्द और अंक रखे जाएंगे ;
(II) टिप्पण-2 का लोप किया जाएगा ;
(आ) "प्रतिनियुक्ति" शीर्षक के अधीन प्रविष्टियों में,-
(I) खंड (क) के उपखंड (ii) में, "वेतन बैंड -4 ( 37400- 67000 रु. ) और ग्रेड वेतन 8700 रु." शब्दों और अंकों के स्थान पर "वेतन मैट्रिक्स में स्तर 13" रखे जाएंगे ;
(II) टिप्पण-4 का लोप किया जाएगा ;
(ग) कमांडेट (इंजीनियर) के पद से संबंधित क्रम संख्या 3 के सामने,-
(i) स्तंभ (4) में, विद्यमान प्रविष्टियों के स्थान पर निम्नलिखित प्रविष्टियां रखी जाएंगी, अर्थातः-
" स्तर -13.";
(ii) स्तंभ (11) में ,-
(अ) "प्रोन्नति" शीर्षक के अधीन प्रविष्टयों में ,-
(I) शब्दों और अंकों के स्थान पर "वेतन बैंड -3 (15600- 39100 रु. ) और ग्रेड वेतन 6600 रुपए" "वेतन मैट्रिक्स में स्तर 11" शब्द और अंक रखे जाएंगे ;
(II) टिप्पण-2, का लोप किया जाएगा ;
(आ) "प्रतिनियुक्ति/आमेलन" शीर्षक के अधीन प्रविष्टियों में,-
(I) खंड (क) के उपखंड (ii) में, "वेतन बैंड -3 (15600- 39100 रु. ) और ग्रेड वेतन 7600 रुपए" शब्दों और अंकों के स्थान पर "वेतन मैट्रिक्स में स्तर 12" रखे जाएंगे ;
(II) खंड (क) के उपखंड (iii) में, " वेतन बैंड -3 (15600- 39100 रु.) और ग्रेड वेतन 6600 रुपए" शब्दों और अंकों के स्थान पर "वेतन मैट्रिक्स में स्तर 11" रखे जाएंगे ;
(III) टिप्पण-4 का लोप किया जाएगा ;
(घ) उप कमांडेंट (इंजीनियर) के पद से संबंधित क्रम संख्या 4 के सामने,-
(i) स्तंभ (4) में विद्यमान प्रविष्टियों के स्थान पर निम्नलिखित प्रविष्टियां रखी जाएंगी, अर्थात :-
" स्तर -11";

(II) टिप्पण-4, का लोप किया जाएगा ;
(आ) "प्रतिनियुक्ति/आमेलन" शीर्षक के अधीन प्रविष्टियों में,-
(I) खंड (क) के उपखंड (ii) में, "वेतन बैंड -3 (15600- 39100 रु. ) और ग्रेड वेतन 5400 रुपए" शब्दों और अंकों के स्थान पर "वेतन मैट्रिक्स में स्तर 10" शब्द और अंक रखे जाएंगे.;
(II) टिप्पण-4, का लोप किया जाएगा ;
(ड) सहायक कमांडेट (इंजीनियर) के पद से संबंधित क्रम संख्या 5 के सामने,-
(i) स्तंभ (4) में, विद्यमान प्रविष्टियों के स्थान पर निम्नलिखित प्रविष्टियां रखी जाएंगी, अर्थात :-
"स्तर -10";
(ii) स्तंभ (11) में ,-
(अ) "प्रोन्नति" शीर्षक के अधीन प्रविष्टयों में ,-
(I) "वेतन बैंड -2 (9300- 34800रु. ) और ग्रेड वेतन 4600 रुपए" शब्दों और अंकों के स्थान पर "वेतन मैट्रिक्स में स्तर 7" शब्द और अंक रखे जाएंगे ;
(II) टिप्पण-2 का लोप किया जाएगा ;
(आ) "प्रतिनियुक्ति" शीर्षक के अधीन प्रविष्टियों में,-
(I) खंड (क) के उपखंड (i) में, "वेतन बैंड -3 (15600- 39100 रु. ) और ग्रेड वेतन 5400 रुपए" शब्दों और अंकों के स्थान पर "वेतन मैट्रिक्स में स्तर 10" शब्द और अंक रखे जाएंगे.;
(II) खंड (क) के उपखंड (ii) में, "वेतन बैंड -2 (9300- 34800 रु. ) और ग्रेड वेतन 4800 रुपए" शब्दों और अंकों के स्थान पर "वेतन मैट्रिक्स में स्तर 8" शब्द और अंक रखे जाएंगे;
(III) खंड (क) के उपखंड (iii) में, "वेतन बैंड -2 (9300- 34800 रु. ) और ग्रेड वेतन 4600 रुपए" शब्दों और अंकों के स्थान पर "वेतन मैट्रिक्स में स्तर 7" शब्द और अंक रखे जाएंगे;
(IV) टिप्पण-4, का लोप किया जाएगा ।

NOTIFICATION
New Delhi, the 30th June, 2017
G.S.R. 837(E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) read with clauses (a) and (c) of sub- section (2) of section 155 of the Sashastra Seema Bal Act, 2007 (53 of 2007), the Central Government hereby makes the following rules to amend the Sashastra Seema Bal, Group 'A' Combatised Engineering Cadre Recruitment Rules, 2015, namely:-
1. (1) These rules may be called the Sashastra Seema Bal, Group 'A' Combatised Engineering Cadre Recruitment (Amendment) Rules, 2017.
(2) They shall come into force on the date of their publication in the Official Gazette.
2. In the Sashastra Seema Bal, Group "A" Combatised Engineering Cadre Recruitment Rules, 2015,-4 THE GAZETTE OF INDIA : EXTRAORDINARY [PART II—SEC. 3(i)] (1) in rule 3, for the words "pay band and grade pay or pay scale" at both the places, the words "level in the pay matrix" shall be substituted;
(2) in the Schedule,-
(a) against serial number 1 relating to the post of Inspector General (Works),-
(i) in column (4), for the heading and the entries relating thereto, the following heading and entries shall be substituted, namely:-

| Level-14"; |
(ii) in column (11),-
(A) in the entries under heading "Promotion",-
(I) for the words and figures "Pay Band-4 (Rs. 37400-67000) and grade pay of Rs. 8900/-", the words, figures and letter "level 13 क in the pay matrix" shall be substituted;
(II) Note-2 shall be omitted;
(B) in the entries under heading "Deputation",-
(I) in sub-clause (ii) of clause (a), for the words and figures "Pay Band-4 (37400-67000) and grade pay Rs. 8900/-", the words, figures and letter "level 13 क in the pay matrix" shall be substituted;
(II) Note-4 shall be omitted;
(b) against serial number 2 relating to the post of Deputy Inspector General (Works),-
(i) in column (4), for the existing entries, the following entries shall be substituted, namely:-
"Level-13 क.";
(ii) in column (11),-
(A) in the entries under heading "Promotion",-
(I) For the words and figures "Pay Band-4 (Rs. 37400-67000) and grade pay of Rs. 8700/-", the words and figures "level 13 in the pay matrix" shall be substituted;
(II) Note-2 shall be omitted;
(B) in the entries under heading "Deputation",-
(I) in sub-clause (ii) of clause (a), for the words and figures "pay band-4 (37000-67000) and grade pay Rs. 8700/-", the words and figures "level 13 in the pay matrix" shall be substituted;
(II) Note-4 shall be omitted.
(c) against serial number 3 relating to the post of Commandant (Engineer),-
(i) in column (4), for the existing entries, the following entries shall be substituted, namely:-
"Level-13.";
(ii) in column (11),-
(A) in the entries under heading "Promotion",-
(I) for the words and figures "Pay Band-3 (Rs. 15600-39100) and grade pay of Rs. 6600/-", the words and figures "level 11 in the pay matrix" shall be substituted;
(II) Note-2 shall be omitted;
(B) In the entries under heading "Deputation/Absorption",-
(I) In sub-clause (ii) of clause (a), for the words and figures "Pay Band-3 (15600-39100) and grade pay Rs. 7600/-", the words and figures "level-12 in the pay matrix" shall be substituted;

(d) against serial number 4 relating to the post of Deputy Commandant (Engineer),-
(i) in column (4), for the existing entries, the following entries shall be substituted, namely :-
"Level-11,",
(ii) in column (11),-
(A) In the entries under heading "Promotion",-
(I) For the words and figures "Pay Band-3 (Rs. 15600-39100) and grade pay of Rs. 5400/-", the words and figures "level 10 in the pay matrix" shall be substituted;
(II) Note-4 shall be omitted;
(B) In the entries under heading "Deputation/Absorption",-
(I) In sub-clause (ii) of clause (a), for the words and figures "Pay Band-3 (15600-39100) and grade pay Rs. 5400/-", the words and figures "level 10 in the pay matrix" shall be substituted;
(II) Note-4 shall be omitted;
(e) against serial number 5 relating to the post of Assistant Commandant (Engineer),
(i) in column (4), for the existing entries, the following entries shall be substituted, namely:-
"Level-10.";
(ii) in column (11),-
(A) in the entries under heading "Promotion",-
(I) for the words and figures "Pay Band-2 (Rs. 9300-34800) and grade pay of Rs. 4600/-", the words and figures "level 7 in the pay matrix" shall be substituted;
(II) Note-2 shall be omitted;
(B) in the entries under heading "Deputation",-
(I) in sub-clause (i) of clause (a), for the words and figures "Pay Band-3 (15600-39100) and grade pay Rs. 5400/-", the words and figures "level 10 in the pay matrix" shall be substituted;
(II) in sub-clause (ii) of clause (a), for the words and figures "Pay Band-2 (9300-34800) and grade pay Rs. 4800/-", the words and figures "level 8 in the pay matrix" shall be substituted;
(III) in sub-clause (iii) of clause (a), for the words and figures "Pay Band-2 (9300-34800) and grade pay Rs. 4600/-", the words and figures "level 7 in the pay matrix" shall be substituted;
(IV) Note-4 shall be omitted.
