आ. अ. 54 (अ).आ. अ. 54 (अ).आ. अ. 54 (अ).आ. अ. 54 (अ).————यतः, भारत नर्ना(cid:6981)चन आयोग ने रा(cid:7398)पतीय नर्ना(cid:6981)चन, 2017 के संचालन के संबंध म(cid:7286) रा(cid:7398)पतीय और उप- रा(cid:7398)पतीय नर्ना(cid:6981)चन ननयम 1974, के ननयम 7 के अधीन (cid:7408)दनांक 14 ूिन, 2017 को ािरी अपनी अनधसूचना सं. 479/2017(2) के (cid:7367)ारा मतदान का (cid:7021)ानर् नर्ना(cid:6981)चक(cid:7298) का समूह, ोि उन मतदान (cid:7021)ल(cid:7298) पर मतदान करने का पा(cid:7074) होगा, उनको अनधसूनचत कर (cid:7408)दया है; और
यतः, उ(cid:7334) अनधसूचना क(cid:7409) (cid:7407)ट(cid:7009)पणी म(cid:7286) मतदान क(cid:7409) तारीख से 10 (cid:7408)दन पहले क(cid:7409) सीमा उस (cid:7272)प म(cid:7286) ननधा(cid:6981)(cid:7407)रत क(cid:7409) गई है, नसिसे पहले कोई भी संसद सद(cid:7021)य/र्नधान सभा सद(cid:7021)य (cid:7408)कसी र्नेष प(cid:7407)रन(cid:7021)नत के कारण य(cid:7408)द उनके समूह के नलए अनधसूनचत मतदान-(cid:7021)ल के अर्लाा अ(cid:7008)य मतदान (cid:7021)ल पर मतदान करना चाहता हो तो उसे ननधा(cid:6981)(cid:7407)रत (cid:7079)प(cid:7074) म(cid:7286) भारत नर्ना(cid:6981)चन आयोग को सीधे र्आेदन करते (cid:7263)ए सूनचत करना होगा; और
यतः, आयोग ने अ(cid:7004)य(cid:7008)त ता(cid:7004)कानलक न(cid:7021)नत के मामले म(cid:7286) 10 (cid:7408)दन र्पू(cid:6981) सूचना क(cid:7409) उपयु (cid:6981)(cid:7334) त(cid:6981) को उदार बनाने का ननण(cid:6981)य नलया है;
अतः, अब आयोग ने यह ननण(cid:6981)य नलया है (cid:7408)क उपयु (cid:6981)(cid:7334) (cid:7079)योनि के नलए आयोग म(cid:7286) मतदान क(cid:7409) तारीख से 10 (cid:7408)दन र्पू(cid:6981) क(cid:7409) र्अनध के प(cid:7391)ात भी (cid:7079)ा(cid:7385) अनुरोध, य(cid:7408)द कोई है, तो आयोग (cid:7367)ारा उस पर (cid:7390)न(cid:7334)गत मामले क(cid:7409) न(cid:7021)नत के आधार पर र्नचार (cid:7408)कया ाि सकता है और आयोग ऐसे संसद सद(cid:7021)य/र्नधान सभा सद(cid:7021)य को उनके समूह के नलए अनधसूनचत (cid:7021)ान के अर्लाा अ(cid:7008)य मतदान (cid:7021)ल पर मतदान करने क(cid:7409) अनुमनत दे सकता है, य(cid:7408)द इस संबंध म(cid:7286) र्आ(cid:7019)यक (cid:7390र्)(cid:7021)ा करने के नलए पया(cid:6981)(cid:7385) समय उपल(cid:7011)ध हो।

आदे से, 2 THE GAZETTE OF INDIA : EXTRAORDINARY [PART II—SEC. 3(iii)] ELECTION COMMISSION OF INDIA
NOTIFICATION
New Delhi, the 10th July, 2017
O.N. 54 (E).—Whereas, the Election Commission of India, in connection with conduct of Presidential Election, 2017, has notified under Rule 7 of the Presidential and Vice-Presidential Elections Rules, 1974, vide its Notification No. 479/2017(2) dated 14th June, 2017, the Place of polling and Group of electors who will be entitled to vote at those places of poll; and
Whereas, in the Note to the said Notification, a limit of 10 days before the date of poll has been fixed, before which any Member of Parliament/Member of Legislative Assembly, on account of exigency for special circumstances, has to intimate if he desires to vote at place of polling other than the one notified for his/her group, by directly applying to the Election Commission of India in the prescribed format; and
Whereas, the Commission has decided to liberalise the above said stipulation of 10 days' prior intimation in case of extreme urgent situation;
Now, therefore, the Commission has decided that the requests for the aforesaid purpose, received in the Commission, even after 10 days before the date of poll, if any, may be considered by the Commission based upon the circumstances of individual case and allow such Member of Parliament/Member of Legislative Assembly to cast vote at place of polling other than the one notified for his/her group, if there is sufficient time available for making necessary arrangements in this regard.
