का.आ. 40का.आ. 40का.आ. 40का.आ. 4066666666(अ)(अ)(अ)(अ)....————के न्(cid:15)ीय सरकार, ऊर्जा संरक्षण अधिनियम, 2001 (2001 का 52) की धारा 14 के ख ड (क) द्वारा प्रदत्त शक्तियों का प्रयोग करते ,ए ऊर्जा दक्षता ब्यूरो के परामर्श से भारत सरकार, विद्युत मंत्रालय की अधिसूचना सं. का.आ.1897 (अ), तारीख 26 मई, 2016 में निम्निलिखत संशोधन करती है, अर्थात् : - उक्त अधिसूचना में, -

(क) इसके पैरा 1(1) के रूप में पैरा 1 संख्याकित किया जाएगा और अंक और शब्दों के स्थान पर ''(2) इस मानक के अधीन आने वाले रंगीन टेलीिवजनों में निम्नलिखित परिभाषाएं होंगी''; इस प्रकार संख्याकित उप-पैरा (1) के पश्चात् कोष्ठक, अंक और शब्द ''(2) इस मानक के अधीन आने वाले रंगीन टेलीविजनों में निम्नलिखित परिभाषाएं होंगी'' रखे जाएंगे;

(ख) ''स्टार रेPटंग या स्टार स्तर योजना'' से संबंिधत पैरा 2 में -

(I) उप-पैरा (1) में निम्नलिखित के स्थान पर रखा जाएगा, अर्थात् :-

"(I) रंगीन टेलिविजन के स्टार स्तर किलोवाट घ टा (के डब्ल्यूएच) प्रतिवर्ष में वाSर्षक ऊर्जा खपत के आधार पर अवधारित किया जाएगा जिसे उत्पादन या वाणिज्यिक खरीद या बिUी के वर्ष पर निर्भर करते

(1 जनवरी, 2019 से 31 दिसम्बर, 2020 तक वैध)

(II). उप-पैरा (2) में निम्निलिखत उप-पैरा रखा जाएगा अर्थात् :----

"(2) स्टार रे(cid:29)टंग स्तर के लिए कोई ऋणात्मक स8ता नह: होगी तथा सभी परखे गए उपकरणों को प्रत्येक स्टार रे(cid:29)टंग स्तर के लिए न्यूनतम ?ेशहोल्ड पूरा करना होगा; और निम्नलिखित बिंदुओं को विनिर्माण स8ता और अन्य भिन्नताओं को स्टार रे(cid:29)टंग का अवधारण करते समय विनिर्माता द्वारा विचार में लिया जाएगा, अर्थात् :

(i) वाFर्षक ऊर्जा की खपत (किलोवाट घंटा/वर्ष) के मूल्य पूणाMकित कर 2 दशमलव अंकों तक दर्ज किए जाएंगे;

(ii) बिजली की खपत (वॉट) के मूल्य पूणाMकित कर 3 दशमलव अंकों तक दर्ज किए जाएंगे;

(iii) स्$ीन के आकार का मान (सेंटीमीटर) पूणाMकित कर दो दशमलव अंकों तक दर्ज किया जाएगा;

(iv) सभी मूल्यों को आईएस 2:1960 के अनुसार, पुन: पुष्टि 2000, संस्करण 2.3 से संबंधित उल्लेखनीय अंकों

तक पूणाMकित किया जाएगा।

NOTIFICATION

New Delhi, the 26th December, 2017

S.O. 4066(E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by clause (a) of section 14 of the Energy Conservation Act, 2001 (52 of 2001), the Central Government, in consultation with the Bureau of Energy Efficiency, hereby makes the following amendments in the notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Power number S.O.1897 (E), dated the 26th May, 2016, namely:-

In the said notification,-

(a) Paragraph 1 shall be renumbered as paragraph 1(1) thereof and for the figure and words "2. colour televisions covered under this standard shall have the following definitions:" occurring after sub-paragraph (1) as so renumbered, the brackets, figure and words "(2) The colour televisions covered under this standard shall have the following definitions:" shall be substituted;

(b) in paragraph 2 relating to "Star rating or star level plan",

(I) for sub-paragraph (1), the following shall be substituted, namely:-

" (1) The star level of the colour televisions shall be determined on the basis of annual energy consumption (AEC) in kilo Watt hours(kWh) per annum, which shall be obtained by substituting screen size (A) in square centimetre in equations as specified in the following Tables depending on the year of manufacturing or commercial purchase or sale.

Table 2.2: (Valid from 1st January, 2019 to 31st December, 2020)

(II) for sub-paragraph (2), the following sub-paragraph shall be substituted, namely:-

"(2) There shall be no negative tolerance for the star rating levels and all tested equipments shall meet the minimum threshold for each star rating level; and the scope for manufacturing tolerance and other variations shall be accounted by the manufacturer when determining the star rating, keeping in view the following points for rounding; namely:-

(i) the values of annual energy consumption (kWh/annum), shall be rounded and recorded up to two decimal places;

(ii) the values of power consumption (W) shall be rounded and recorded up to three decimal places;

(iii) The values of screen size (centimetre) shall be rounded and recorded up to two decimal figures;

(iv) all the values shall be rounded off to respective figures, as per IS 2:1960, reaffirmed 2000, Edition 2.3.".
