सं. भा.आ.प.सं. भा.आ.प.सं. भा.आ.प.सं. भा.आ.प.----201/2017201/2017201/2017201/2017----पात्रता/सामान्यपात्रता/सामान्यपात्रता/सामान्यपात्रता/सामान्य/176486/176486/176486/176486....————भारतीय आयु(cid:19)र्व(cid:21)ान परिषद् अधिनियम, 1956 (1956 का 102) की धारा 33 के अंतर्गत प्रदत्त शक्तियों का इस्तेमाल करते )ए, कें , सरकार के पूर्व अनुमोदन से, भारतीय आयु(cid:19)र्व(cid:21)ान परिषद्, ''किसी विदेशी चिकित्सा संस्थान में स्नातक-पूर्व चिकित्सा पा12म में दाखिला लेने हेतु पात्रता विनियमावली, 2002'' में एतद् द्वारा निम्निलिखत संशोधन करती है, नामत: :—
1. इन विनियमों को "किसी विदेशी चिकित्सा संस्थान में स्नातक-पूर्व चिकित्सा पा12म में दाखिला लेने हेतु पात्रता विनियमावली (संशोधन), 2018'' कहा जाएगा।
2. "किसी विदेशी चिकित्सा संस्थान में स्नातक-पूर्व चिकित्सा पा12म में दाखिला लेने हेतु पात्रता िविनयमावली, 2002'' में इसमें दर्शाए गए अनुसार निम्नलिखित अभिवर्धन/संशोधन/ विलोप/प्रतिस्थापन होंगे:
3. "पात्रता मापदंड'' शीर्षक के अंतर्गत विनियम 8 में, "किसी विदेशी चिकित्सा संस्थान में स्नातक-पूर्व चिकित्सा पा12म में दाखिला लेने हेतु पात्रता विनियमावली, 2002'' के खंड 8 (iii) के पश्चात् निम्निलिखत खंड जोड़ा जाएगा:
(iv) मई, 2018 को या इसके पश्चात भारत के बाहर के किसी चिकित्सा संस्थान से प्राथमिक चिकित्सा THE GAZETTE OF INDIA : EXTRAORDINARY 2 [PART III—SEC. 4] 'एमबीबीएस पा12म में दाखिले हेतु राष्ट्रीय पात्रता व प्रवेश परीक्षा' का परिणाम, ऐसे Jयक्तियों के लिए पात्रता प्रमाणपत्र के रूप में माना जाएगा, बशतL कि ऐसे Jयक्ति, स्नातक िचकित्सा शिक्षा पर िविनयमावली, 1997 में विनिर्धारित एमबीबीएस पा12म में दाखिले हेतु पात्रता मापदंड पूरा करते हों।

की अधिसूचना के अंतर्गत भारत के राजपत्र के भाग III, खंड 4 में प्रकाशित की गई थी और इसे भारतीय
आयु(cid:19)र्व(cid:21)ान परिषद् की दिनांक 22 फरवरी, 2002 और 16 अप्रैल, 2010 की अधिसूचना के अंतर्गत पुन:संशोिधत
किया गया था।

New Delhi, the 1st March, 2018
No. MCI-201/2017-Eligi./Gen./176486.—In exercise of the powers conferred by Section 33 of the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956 (102 of 1956), the Medical Council of India with the previous sanction of the Central Government hereby makes the following regulations to further amend the "Eligibility Requirement for Taking Admission in an Undergraduate Medical Course in a Foreign Medical Institution Regulation, 2002" namely:—
1. These regulations may be called the "Eligibility Requirement for Taking Admission in an Undergraduate Medical Course in a Foreign Medical Institution Regulation, 2002 (Amendment), 2018."
2. In the "Eligibility Requirement for Taking Admission in an Undergraduate Medical Course in a Foreign Medical Institution Regulation, 2002", the following additions/modifications/deletions substitutions shall be, as indicated therein.
3. In regulation 8 under heading "Eligibility Criteria", the following shall be added after Clause 8(iii) in the Eligibility Requirement for Taking Admission in an Undergraduate Medical Course in a Foreign Medical Institution Regulation, 2002:—
(iv) Indian Citizens/Overseas Citizen of India intending to obtain primary medical qualification from any medical institution outside India, on or after May 2018, shall have to mandatorily qualify the 'National- Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test for Admission to MBBS course'. The result of the 'National-Eligibility-cum- Entrance Test for Admission to MBBS course' shall deem to be treated as the Eligibility Certificate for such persons, provided that such persons fulfils the Eligibility Criteria for admission to the MBBS course prescribed in the Regulations on Graduate Medical Education, 1997.

Foot Note: The principal Regulations namely, "Eligibility Requirement for Taking Admission in an Undergraduate Medical Course in a Foreign Medical Institution Regulation, 2002" were published on 18th February, 2002 in Part III, Section 4 of the Gazette of India and amended vide Medical Council of India Notification dated the 22nd February, 2002 and 16th April, 2010.
