NOTIFICATION
New Delhi, 7th March, 2018
S.O. 1018(E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by clause (a) of Sub-Section (3) of Section 5 read with clause (c) of Sub-Section (1) of Section 6 of the University Grants Commission Act, 1956 (3 of 1956), the Central Government hereby appoints Shri R. Subrahmanyam, Secretary, Department of Higher Education in the Ministry of Human Resource Development as Member of the University Grants Commission until further orders or till such time Shri R. Subrahmanyam occupies the post of Secretary, Department of Higher Education in the Ministry of Human Resource Development, whichever is earlier, vice Shri Kewal Kumar Sharma.
