का.आ. का.आ. का.आ. का.आ. 1114111411141114(अ)(अ)(अ)(अ)....—अंतरराज्यिक नदी महानदी और उसकी घाटी नदी से सम्बंधित जल विवाद (जिसे इसमें इसके प*ात विवाद कहा गया है।) न्यायनिर्णयन के लिए किसी अधिकरण को नि3र्दष्ट करने के लिए ओडिशा सरकार से अंतरराज्यिक नदी जल विवाद अधिनियम, 1956 (1956 का 33) की धारा 3 के अधीन अनुरोध प्राप्त ?आ है;
और ओडिशा सरकार, ने उBतम न्यायालय में 2017 की मूल वाद संख्या 1 फाइल की थी और उक्त न्यायालय ने तारीख 23 जनवरी, 2018 के आदेश में कें Jीय सरकार को एक जल विवाद अधिकरण का गठन करने का निदेश दिया था;
अतः, अब, कें Jीय सरकार, उक्त अधिनियम की धारा 4 द्वारा प्रदत्त शक्तियों का प्रयोग करते ?ए, उक्त विवाद के न्यायनिर्णयन के लिए, नई दिल्ली स्थित मुख्यालय सहित 'महानदी जल िववाद अिधकरण' नामक एक जल िववाद अिधकरण का गठन करती है, जो भारत के मुख्य न्यायमूTर्त द्वारा इस निमित्त नामनि3र्दष्ट निम्नलिखित सदस्यों से मिलकर बनेगा, अर्थात्:—
1. न्यायमूTर्त Wी ए. एम. खानविलकर,
भारत के उBतम न्यायालय के न्यायाधीश
-अध्यक्ष;
2. न्यायमूTर्त डॉ. रिव रंजन,
पटना उB न्यायालय के न्यायाधीश
-सदस्य;
3. न्यायमूTर्त Wीमती इन्दरमीत कौर को\छर,
दिल्ली उB न्यायालय के न्यायाधीश
-सदस्य.

New Delhi, the 12th March, 2018
S.O. 1114(E).—Whereas a request has been received under section 3 of the Inter-State River Water Disputes Act, 1956 (33 of 1956) from the Government of Odisha to refer the water dispute regarding the inter-state river Mahanadi, and the river valley thereof (hereinafter called the said dispute), to a Tribunal for adjudication;
And whereas, the Government of Odisha filed an Original Suit No.1 of 2017 in the Supreme Court and the said Court in its order dated the 23rd January, 2018 directed the Central Government to constitute a Water Disputes Tribunal;
Now, therefore, in exercise of the powers conferred by section 4 of the aforesaid Act, the Central Government hereby constitutes a Water Disputes Tribunal called 'The Mahanadi Water Disputes Tribunal', with headquarters at New Delhi for the adjudication of the said dispute consisting of the following members nominated in this behalf by the Chief Justice of India, namely:-
1. Mr. Justice A.M. Khanwilkar,
Judge of the Supreme Court of India —Chairman;
2. Dr. Justice Ravi Ranjan,
Judge of the Patna High Court —Member;
3. Mrs. Justice Indermeet Kaur Kochhar,
Judge of the Delhi High Court —Member.
