काकाकाका....आआआआ.... 6209620962096209 ((((अअअअ)))).—के न्(cid:13)ीय सरकार का यह समाधान हो गया है कि लोकिहत में ऐसा अपेक्षित है, कि लोहा और इस्पात उद्योग में लगी ई सेवाएं, जो कि औद्योगिक िववाद अिधिनयम, 1947 (1947 का 14) की पहली अनुसूची की मद 7 के अधीन आती हैं, उक्त अिधिनयम के प्रयोजनों के िलए लोक उपयोगी सेवा है ;
और के न्(cid:13)ीय सरकार ने अन्तत: भारत सरकार के +म और रोजगार मंत्रालय की अिधसूचना सं. का.आ. 2953(अ), तारीख 19 जून, 2018 द्वारा उक्त अिधिनयम के प्रयोजनों के िलए उक्त उद्योग को 20 जून, 2018 से छह मास की अवधि के िलए लोक उपयोगी सेवा घोिषत किया था ;
और के न्(cid:13)ीय सरकार की यह राय है कि लोकिहत में छह मास की और अविध के िलए उक्त उद्योग का लोक उपयोगी सेवा प्रास्थिति का विस्तार करना अपेक्षित है;
अत:, अब के न्(cid:13)ीय सरकार, औद्योगिक िववाद अिधिनयम, 1947 (1947 का 14) की धारा 2 के खंड (ढ) के उपखंड (vi) के परन्तुक द्वारा प्रदत्त शक्तियों का प्रयोग करते ए, लोहा और इस्पात उद्योग में लगी ई सेवाओं को उक्त अिधिनयम के प्रयोजनों के िलए तारीख 20 दिसम्बर, 2018 से छह मास की अविध के िलए लोक उपयोगी सेवा घोिषत करती है ।

New Delhi, the 18th December, 2018
S.O. 6209(E).—Whereas the Central Government is satisfied that public interest so requires that the services engaged in the Iron and Steel industry, which is covered under item 7 of the First Schedule to the Industrial Disputes Act, 1947 (14 of 1947), to be a public utility service for the purposes of the said Act;
And whereas the Central Government has lastly declared the said industry to be public utility service for the purposes of the said Act for a period of six months from the 20th June, 2018 vide notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Labour and Employment number S.O. 2953(E), dated the 19th June, 2018;
And whereas the Central Government is of the opinion that public interest requires the extension of the public utility service status to the said industry for a further period of six months.
Now, therefore, in exercise of the powers conferred by the proviso to sub-clause (vi) of clause (n) of section 2 of the Industrial Disputes Act, 1947 (14 of 1947), the Central Government hereby declares the services engaged in the Iron and Steel industry to be a public utility service for the purposes of the said Act for a period of six months with effect from the 20th December, 2018.
