का.आ. 6315 (अ).—के न्(cid:15)ीय सरकार संतुष्ट है कि, लोक-िहत में ऐसा करना अपेक्षित है कि, भारतीय खाद्य िनगम में लगी (cid:30)ई ऐसी सेवाएँ जो कि औद्योगिक िववाद अिधिनयम, 1947 (1947 का 14) की प्रथम अनुसूची के मद 6 (खाद्य पदार्थ) के अधीन समावेिशत हैं, उक्त अिधिनयम के प्रयोजनों के िलए लोक उपयोगी सेवा होंगी ;
और, के न्(cid:15)ीय सरकार ने भारत सरकार के ,म और रोजगार मंत्रालय की अिधसूचना संख्यांक का.आ. 3093 (अ), तारीख 25 जून, 2018 द्वारा अंितम रूप से, तारीख 27 जून, 2018 से छ: मास तक की कालाविध के िलए उक्त उद्योग को उक्त अिधिनयम के प्रयोजनों के िलए, लोक उपयोगी सेवा घोिषत किया था ;
और के न्(cid:15)ीय सरकार की राय है कि, उक्त उद्योग की लोक उपयोगी सेवा प्रास्थिति छह मास की और कालाविध के िलए बढ़ाया जाना लोकिहत में अपेक्षित है ।
अत:, अब के न्(cid:15)ीय सरकार, औद्योगिक िववाद अिधिनयम, 1947 (1947 का 14) की धारा 2 के खंड (ढ) के उप-खंड (vi) के परन्तुक द्वारा प्रदत्त शक्तियों का प्रयोग करते (cid:30)ए, भारतीय खाद्य िनगम में लगी (cid:30)ई सेवाओं को उक्त अिधिनयम के प्रयोजनों के िलए तारीख 27 दिसम्बर, 2018 से छ: मास की कालाविध के िलए लोक उपयोगी सेवा घोिषत करती है ।

NOTIFICATION
New Delhi, the 26th December, 2018
S.O. 6315(E).—Whereas the Central Government is satisfied that public interest so requires that the services engaged in the Food Corporation of India, which is covered under item 6 (Food stuffs) of the First Schedule to the Industrial Disputes Act, 1947 (14 of 1947), to be a public utility service for the purposes of the said Act;
And whereas the Central Government has lastly declared the said industry to be public utility service for the purposes of the said Act for a period of six months from the 27th June, 2018 vide notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Labour and Employment number S.O. 3093(E), dated the 25th June, 2018;
And whereas the Central Government is of the opinion that public interest requires the extension of the public utility service status to the said industry for a further period of six months;
Now, therefore, in exercise of the powers conferred by the proviso to sub-clause (vi) of clause (n) of section 2 of the Industrial Disputes Act, 1947 (14 of 1947), the Central Government hereby declares the services engaged in the Food Coporation of India to be a public utility service for the purposes of the said Act for a period of six months with effect from the 27th December, 2018.
