—केंद्रीय सरकार, रेल अधिनियम, 1989 (1989 का 24) (जिसे इसमें इसके पश्चात् उक्त अधिनियम कहा गया है) की धारा 20क की उप-धारा (1) के अधीन भारत के राजपत्र, असाधारण, भाग 2, खंड 3, उपखंड (ii), तारीख, 21 अक्तूबर, 2020 में प्रकाशित और जारी की गई, भारत सरकार के रेल मंत्रालय (रेलवे बोर्ड) की अधिसूचना संख्यांक का.आ.
3711 (अ), तारीख, 19 अक्तूबर, 2020 द्वारा उक्त अधिसूचना से उपाबद्ध अनुसूची में विनिर्दिष्ट भूमि को गुजरात राज्य के भरूच जिले में विशेष रेल परियोजना्, अर्थात्, वेस्टर्न डेडीकेटेड़ फ्रेट कोरीडोर के निष्पादन, अनुरक्षण, प्रबंध, और प्रचालन के लिए अर्जित करने के अपने आशय की घेाषणा की थी;
और उक्त अधिसूचना का सार उक्त अधिनियम की धारा 20क की उप-धारा (4) के अधीन दैनिक समाचार पत्रों, अर्थात्, ''द टाइम्स आफ इडिंया'' (अंग्रेजी) में तारीख 28 अक्तूबर, 2020 और ''गुजरात मित्र'' (गुजराती) में तारीख 28 अक्तूबर, 2020 में प्रकाशित किया गया था;
और सक्षम प्राधिकारी द्वारा कोई आक्षेप प्राप्त नहीं हुआ था;
और सक्षम प्राधिकारी ने उक्त अघिनियम की घारा 20ङ की उप-धारा (1) के अनुसरण में, केंद्रीय सरकार को अपनी रिपोर्ट प्रस्तुत कर दी है;

(1)2 THE GAZETTE OF INDIA : EXTRAORDINARY [PART II—SEC. 3(ii)] अतः अब, केंद्रीय सरकार, सक्षम प्राधिकारी से उक्त रिपोर्ट के प्राप्त होने पर और उक्त अधिनियम की धारा 20ङ की उप-धारा (1) द्वारा प्रद्त्त शक्तियों का प्रयोग करते हुए, यह धोषणा करती है कि इससे उपाबद्ध अनुसूची में विनिर्दिष्ट भूमि पूर्वाेक्त प्रयोजन के लिए अर्जित की जाएगी;
और केंद्रीय सरकार, उक्त अधिनियम की धारा 20ङ की उप-धारा (2) के अनुसरण में, यह घोषणा करती है कि इस अधिसूचना के राजपत्र में प्रकाशित होने पर इससे उपाबद्ध अनुसूची में विनिर्दिष्ट भूमि सभी विल्लंगमों से मुक्त होकर आत्यंतिक रूप से केंद्रीय सरकार में निहित होगी। गुजरात राज्य के भरूच जिले में प्रस्तावित विशेष रेल परियोजना्, अर्थात्, वेस्टर्न डेडीकेटेड फ्रेट कोरीडोर के लिए अर्जित की जाने वाली भूमि का संरचना सहित या उसके रहित संक्षिप्त विवरण।

NOTIFICATION
New Delhi, the 8th January, 2021
S.O. 101(E).—Whereas, by the notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Railways (Railway Board), number S.O. 3711(E), dated the 19th October, 2020 published in the Gazette of India, Extraordinary, Part II, Section 3, Sub – section (ii), dated the 21st October, 2020 and issued under sub-section (1) of section 20A of the Railways Act, 1989 (24 of 1989) (hereinafter referred to as the said Act), the Central Government declared its intention to acquire the land specified in the schedule annexed to the said notification for the purpose of execution, maintenance, management and operation of the Special Railway Project namely, Western Dedicated Freight Corridor in the district of Bharuch in the State of Gujarat;
And whereas, the substance of the said notification has been published in the daily local newspapers namely, "The Times of India" (English) dated the 28th October, 2020 and "Gujarat Mitra" (Gujarati) dated the 28th October, 2020 under sub-section (4) of section 20A of the said Act;
And whereas, no objection has been received by the Competent Authority;
And whereas, in pursuance of sub-section (1) of section 20E of the said Act, the Competent Authority has submitted its report to the Central Government;
Now therefore, upon receipt of the report of the Competent Authority and in exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 20E of the said Act, the Central Government hereby declares that the land specified in the schedule annexed hereto shall be acquired for the aforesaid purpose;
And further, in pursuance of sub-section (2) of section 20E of the said Act, the Central Government hereby declares that on publication of this notification in the Official Gazette, the land specified in the schedule annexed hereto shall vest absolutely in the Central Government free from all encumbrances.
