नई दिल्ली, 12 जनवरी, 2021
का. आ. 120(अ).—कें द्रीय सरकार का यह मत है कि संलग्न अनुसूची और स्थल मानचित्र में विनिर्दिष्ट प्राचीन खदान, धोलावीरा, तहसील भचाऊ, जिला कच्छ, राज्य गुजरात राष्ट्रीय महत्व का है।
अतः अब, प्राचीन स्मारक तथा पुरातत्वीय स्थल एवं अवशेष अधिनियम, 1958 (1958 का 24) की धारा 4 की उप-धारा (1) द्वारा प्रदत्त शक्तियों का प्रयोग करते हुए, कें द्रीय सरकार उक्त पुरातात्विक स्थल एवं अवशेष को राष्ट्रीय महत्व का घोषित करने के अपने इरादे का एततद्वारा नोटिस देती है।
राजकीय राजपत्र में उक्त पुरातात्विक स्थल एवं अवशेष को राष्ट्रीय महत्व का घोषित करने पर यदि कोई आपत्ति होती है तो अधिसूचना जनता को उपलब्ध कराने की तारीख से दो महीने के भीतर प्रेषित की जा सकती है।
उक्त प्रारूप अधिसूचना के संबंध में विनिर्दिष्ट अवधि के भीतर यदि किसी व्यक्ति से कोई आपत्ति प्राप्त होती है तो आपत्ति महानिदेशक, भारतीय पुरातत्त्व सर्वेक्षण, 24, तिलक मार्ग, नई दिल्ली को प्रेषित की जा सकती है।

NOTIFICATION
New Delhi, the 12th January, 2021
S.O. 120(E).—Whereas, the Central Government is of the opinion that the ancient quarry site, Dholavira, Tehsil Bhachau, District Kachchh, State Gujarat, specified in the Schedule and the site plan annexed hereto, is of national importance.
Now, therefore, in exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 4 of the Ancient Monuments and Archaeological Sites and Remains Act, 1958 (24 of 1958), the Central Government hereby gives notice of its intention to declare the said archaeological site and remains to be of national importance.
Any objection to the declaration of the said archaeological site and remains as of national importance may be made within a period of two months from the date on which the copies of the Gazette containing this notification are made available to the public.
The objections, if any, received from any person with respect to the said draft notification within the period so specified may be made to the Director General, Archaeological Survey of India, 24, Tilak Marg, New Delhi – 110001.
The objections so received shall be taken into consideration by the Central Government.
