का.आ. 2901(अ).—न्यायाधिकरण, अपीलीय न्यायाधिकरण तथा अन्य प्राधिकारी (सदस्यों की योग्यता, अनुभव एवं अन्य सेवा शर्तें) नियमावली, 2020 की धारा 4 के साथ पठित उपभोक्ता संरक्षण अधिनियम, 2019 की धारा 55 द्वारा प्रदत्त शक्तियों का प्रयोग कर तथा कामिक और प्रशिक्षण विभाग के दिनांक 11.5.2021 के पत्र संख्या 9/17/2020 - ई ओ (एस एम-II) द्वारा संसूचित मंत्रिमंडल की नियुक्ति समिति के अनुमोदन से के न्द्रीय सरकार एतद् द्वारा निम्नलिखित व्यक्ति को नीचे दिए विवरण के अनुसार कार्य भार संभालने की तारीख से 4 वर्षों के लिए या 67 वर्ष की आयु प्राप्त होने तक या अगले आदेशों तक, जो भी पहले हो, तक की अवधि के लिए राष्ट्रीय उपभोक्ता विवाद प्रतितोष आयोग (एनसीडीआरसी) में सदस्य के पद पर नियुक्त करती है:

2. यह नियुक्ति बॉम्बे उच्च न्यायालय, नागपुर पीठ में दायर की गई रिट याचिका संख्या 1573/2020 के परिणाम के अधीन होगी।

NOTIFICATION

New Delhi, the 22nd July, 2021

S.O. 2901(E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by Section 55 of the Consumer Protection Act, 2019 read with rule 4 of the Tribunal, Appellate Tribunal and other Authorities (Qualifications, Experience and other Conditions of Service of Members) Rules, 2020, and with the approval of the Appointments Committee of the Cabinet (ACC), conveyed by Department of Personnel and Training vide communication No. 9/17/2020-EO (SM-II), dated 11.5.2021, the Central Government hereby appoints the following to the post of Member, National Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission (NCDRC) as per details given below, for a period of four years with effect from the date of assumption of the charge, or till attaining the age of 67 years, or until further orders, whichever is the earliest.

2. The appointment is subject to the outcome of the Writ Petition No. 1573/2020 filed in the Bombay High Court, Nagpur Bench.
