फा.सं.1(10)/2018-एसपी-I.— के न्द्रीय सरकार ने इथेनॉल का उत्पादन बढ़ाने और पेट्रोल के साथ इथेनॉल ब्लेंडिग (ईबीपी) कार्यक्रम के अधीन, विशेष रूप से अधिशेष वाले मौसम में इसकी आपूति बढ़ाने और इससे चीनी मिलों की नकदी की स्थिति में सुधार करने, ताकि उन्हें किसानों के गन्ना मूल्य बकाया का भुगतान करने में सक्षम बनाया जा सके , की दृष्टि से दिनांक 22.04.2022 की अधिसूचना सं. 1(10)/2018-एसपी-I के माध्यम से ऐसे परियोजना प्रस्तावकों से जिन्होंने अपनी मौजूदा इथेनॉल डिस्टीलेशन क्षमता को बढ़ाने के लिए अथवा अनाज (चावल, गेहूं, जौ, मक्का और सोरघम), गन्ना (चीनी, शुगर सीरप, गन्ना जूस, बी-हैवी शीरा, सी-हैवी शीरा सहित), चुकं दर आदि जैसे फीड स्टॉक से फस्र्ट जनरेशन (1 जी) इथेनॉल का उत्पादन करने के लिए नई डिस्टिलरियों की स्थापना हेतु इथेनॉल परियोजना के लिए भूमि अधिगृहीत किया है और पर्यावरणीय मंजूरी प्राप्त कर ली है, से नए आवेदन आमंत्रित करने के लिए आशोधित स्कीम दिनांक 14.01.2021 के तहत दिनांक 22.04.2022 से छ: माह तक के लिए एक विडो खोला है।
2. दिनांक 22.04.2022 की उक्त अधिसूचना के पैरा 9 के अनुसरण में, के न्द्रीय सरकार ने अब यह निर्णय लिया है कि इस अधिसूचना का पैरा 3 निम्नानुसार पढ़ा जाए:-
(3) आवेदन प्रस्तुत करना:

CORRIGENDUM

F. No.1(10)/2018-SP-I.—The Central Government with a view to increase production of ethanol and its supply under Ethanol Blended with Petrol (EBP) Programme, especially in the surplus season and thereby to improve the liquidity position of the sugar mills enabling them to clear cane price arrears of the farmers, opened a window for six months w.e.f. 22.04.2022 under modified scheme dated 14.01.2021 for inviting fresh applications from those project proponents who have acquired land for ethanol project and obtained Environmental Clearance (EC) for enhancement of their existing ethanol distillation capacity or to set up new distillery for producing 1st Generation (1G) ethanol from feed stocks such as cereals (rice, wheat, barley, corn & sorghum), sugarcane (including sugar, sugar syrup, sugarcane juice, B-heavy molasses, C-heavy molasses), sugar beet etc. vide notification No. 1(10)/2018-SP-I dated 22.04.2022.
2. Now in pursuance of para 9 of the said notification dated 22.04.2022, Central Government has decided that Para 3 of the notification may be read as under:-
(3) Submission of application:
"For availing assistance under the Scheme, the sugar mills/distilleries/entrepreneurs who have acquired land and obtained environmental clearance for their project would be required to submit an application cum-proposal in the prescribed Proforma (Annexure-I) to the Director (S&VO), Directorate of Sugar and Vegetable Oils, Department of Food & Public Distribution (DFPD), Krishi Bhawan, New Delhi during the period of six months w.e.f. 22.04.2022 through online mode only on the https://www.nsws.gov.in to avail benefit under the scheme."
