का.आ. 2368(अ).— के न्द्र सरकार, रेल अधिनियम, 1989 (1989 का 24) की धारा 196 की उपधारा (1) में प्रदत्त शक्तियों का प्रयोग करते हुए एतद्द्वारा रेलवे को निम्न के संबंध में उक्त अधिनियम की धारा 21, 22 तथा 23 के प्रावधान के प्रयोग से छू ट देती है —

(क) ऊपरी पैदल पुलों और ऊपरी सड़क पुलों का निर्माण, पुननिर्माण, आशोधन और मजबूत करना;

(ख) छोटे पुलों का निर्माण, पुननिर्माण, पुनः गर्डर लगाना और मजबूत करना;

(ग) छोटे पुलों के अलावा सभी मौजूदा पुलों पर पुन: गर्डर लगाना और मजबूत करना;

(घ) चौकीदार युक्त क्रॉसिग को हटाना;

(ङ) बाहरी स्टेशन सीमाओं की इंटरलॉंकिग सहित समपार को अपग्रेड करना;

(च) बिजली कर्षण चालू करना;

(छ) समपित माल गलियारे से संबंधित कार्य।

New Delhi, the 24th May, 2022

S.O. 2368(E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by Sub-section (1) of Section 196 of the Railways Act, 1989 (24 of 1989), the Central Government hereby exempt from the application of the provision of Section 21, 22 and 23 of the said Act, the Railway in respect of—

(a) Construction, rebuilding, modification and strengthening of foot-over-bridges and road- over-bridges;

(b) Construction, rebuilding, regirdering and strengthening of minor bridges;

(c) Regirdering and strengthening of all existing bridges, other than minor bridges;

(d) Elimination of manned level crossing;

(e) Upgradation of level crossing, including interlocking outside station limits;

(f) Introduction of Electric Traction;

(g) Works related to Dedicated Freight Corridor.
