सा.का.नि. 894(अ).—माध्यस्थम और सुलह अधिनियम, 1996 (1996 का 26) की धारा 44 के खंड (ख) द्वारा प्रदत्त शक्तियों का प्रयोग करते हुए, कें द्र सरकार, इस बात से संतुष्ट होने पर कि पारस्परिक प्रावधान किए गए हैं, एतदद्वारा कु वैत राज्य को ऐसा क्षेत्र घोषित करती है जिस पर उक्त अधिनियम की पहली अनुसूची में निर्धारित विदेशी पंचाट निर्णयों की मान्यता और प्रवर्तन संबंधी कन्वेंशन लागू होता है।

MINISTRY OF LAW AND JUSTICE (Department of Legal Affairs) NOTIFICATION New Delhi, the 6th December, 2022 G.S.R. 894(E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by clause (b) of section 44 of the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996 (26 of 1996), the Central Government, on being satisfied that reciprocal provisions have been made, hereby declares the State of Kuwait to be a territory to which the Convention on the Recognition and Enforcement of Foreign Arbitral Awards set forth in the First Schedule to the said Act, applies.

NOTIFICATION
New Delhi, the 6th December, 2022
G.S.R. 895(E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by clause (c) of section 29 of the Code of Civil Procedure, 1908 (5 of 1908), the Central Government hereby declares that the provisions of the said section shall apply to all Civil Courts in the State of Kuwait.
