का.आ. 6020(अ).—पेट्रोलियम और खनिज पाइपलाइन (भूमि में प्रयोक्ता के अधिकार का अर्जन) अधिनियम, 1962 (1962 का 50) (इसमें इसके बाद उक्त अधिनियम कहा गया है) की धारा 2 के खंड (क) के अनुसरण में भारत सरकार एतदद्वारा, तमिल नाडु राज्य और कें द्र शासित प्रदेश पुडुचेरी में मैसर्स गेल (इण्डिया) लिमिटेड की सभी प्राकृ तिक गैस पाइपलाइन परियोजनाओं के लिए पेट्रोलियम और खनिज पाइपलाइन (भूमि में प्रयोक्ता के अधिकार का अर्जन) अधिनियम, 1962 के तहत श्री आर. शंकर, विशेष तहसीलदार, तमिलनाडु सरकार को, प्रतिनियुक्ति के आधार पर, सक्षम प्राधिकारी के कार्यो का निर्वहन करने के लिये प्राधिकृ त करती है I
2. तमिलनाडु राज्य और कें द्र शासित प्रदेश पुडुचेरी में मैसर्स गेल (इण्डिया) लिमिटेड के लिए दिनांक 16.09.2019 को भारत के असाधारण राजपत्र में प्रकाशित दिनांक 12.09.2019 की अधिसूचना संख्या सां.आ. 3305(अ) द्वारा पूर्व में अधिसूचित सक्षम प्राधिकारी, श्री ए. सु ंदरम, विशेष तहसीलदार (भूमि अधिग्रहण), तमिल नाडु सरकार को निरस्त किया जाता है l

NOTIFICATION
New Delhi, the 16th December, 2022
S.O. 6020(E).—In pursuance of clause (a) of Section 2 of the Petroleum and Minerals Pipelines (Acquisition of Right of User in Land) Act, 1962 (50 of 1962), (hereinafter called the said Act), the Government of India hereby authorizes Shri R. Sankar, Special Tehsildar, Government of Tamil Nadu to perform the functions of Competent Authority under the Petroleum and Minerals Pipelines (Acquisition of Right of User in Land) Act, 1962 on deputation basis for all Natural Gas Pipeline Projects of M/s. GAIL (India) Limited in the State of Tamil Nadu and Union Territory of Puducherry.
2. Earlier notified Competent Authority for M/s. GAIL (India) Limited in the State of Tamil Nadu and Union Territory of Puducherry, Shri A. Sundaram, Special Tehsildar (Land Acquisition), Government of Tamil Nadu, vide S.O. 3305(E) dated 12.09.2019 published in the Extraordinary Gazette of India dated 16.09.2019 stands de-notified.
3. This notification will be effective from the date of its issue.
