का.आ. 6047(अ).— यतः, मै. नोकिया इंडिया प्राइवेट लिमिटेड, ने तमिलनाडु राज्य के श्रीपेरम्बदुर, काँचीपुरम जिले में इलेक्ट्रॉनिक्स, दूरसंचार, आईटी हार्डवेयर का निर्माण और असैम्बली (मोबाइल फोन, पार्ट, संघटक एवं फोन और नेटवर्क के लिए सहायक उपकरण सहित) एवं सॉफ्टवेयर, आर-डी गतिविधियाँ, प्रशिक्षण एवं दूरसंचार में अन्य सेवाओं का विकास क्षेत्र हेतु एक विशिष्ट विशेष आर्थिक जोन की स्थापना हेतु विशेष आर्थिक जोन अधिनियम, 2005 (2005 का 28), (जिसे एतद्पश्चात् उक्त अधिनियम कहा गया है) की धारा 3 के अंतर्गत प्रस्ताव किया था;

और, यतः के न्द्र सरकार ने, विशेष आर्थिक जोन नियमावली, 2006 के नियम 8 के साथ पठित उक्त अधिनियम की धारा 4 की उप-धारा (1) द्वारा प्रदत्त शक्तियों का प्रयोग करते हुए निम्नलिखित क्षेत्रों को अधिसूचित तथा अनधिसूचित किया था, जिसका विवरण नीचे तालिका में दिया गया है:-

और यतः, मै. नोकिया इंडिया प्राइवेट लिमिटेड ने अब उपरोक्त विशेष आर्थिक जोन से 9.8270 हेक्टेयर के क्षेत्र को अनधिसूचित करने का प्रस्ताव किया है;

और यतः, तमिलनाडु सरकार ने उनके पत्र सं. 5134/एम्आईई.2/2021-1 दिनांक 19 जुलाई, 2021 के तहत प्रस्ताव को सहमति दे दी है;

और यतः, विकास आयुक्त, मेप्ज, एसईजेड ने विशेष आर्थिक जोन के 9.8270 हेक्टेयर के क्षेत्र को अनधिसूचित करने के प्रस्ताव की संस्तुति की है। मै. सालकॉम्प टेक्नोलॉजीज इंडिया प्रा. लि., (एसईजेड में स्थित) अनधिसूचित भूमि का उपयोग डीटीए इकाई के रूप में करेगी;

और यतः, के न्द्र सरकार इस बात से संतुष्ट है कि अधिनियम की धारा 3 की उप-धारा (8) के अंतर्गत अपेक्षाओं तथा अन्य सम्बंधित अपेक्षाओं को पूरा कर लिया गया है;

अतः अब, विशेष आर्थिक जोन अधिनियम, 2005 की धारा 4 की उप-धारा (1) के दूसरे परन्तुक द्वारा प्रदत्त शक्तियों का प्रयोग करते हुए और विशेष आर्थिक जोन अधिनियम, 2006 के नियम 8 के अनुसरण में के न्द्र सरकार एतद्द्वारा 9.8270 हेक्टेयर के क्षेत्र को अनधिसूचित करती है, जिसके परिमाणतः कु ल क्षेत्रफल 53.7862 हेक्टेयर हो जाएगा। अनधिसूचना हेतु निम्नलिखित तालिका में उल्लिखित सर्वेक्षण संख्याएं और क्षेत्र शामिल है, अर्थात:-

NOTIFICATION

New Delhi, the 23rd December, 2022

S.O. 6047(E).—Whereas, M/s. Nokia India Private Limited, had proposed under section 3 of the Special Economic Zones Act, 2005 (28 of 2005), (hereinafter referred to as the said Act) to set up a sector specific Special Economic Zone for manufacture and assembly of electronics, telecommunications, IT Hardware (including mobile phones, parts, components and accessories for phones and networks) and development of software, R&D activities, training and other services in telecommunication at Sriperumbudur, Kancheepuram District in the State of Tamil Nadu;

AND, WHEREAS, the Central Government, in exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 4 of the said Act read with rule 8 of the Special Economic Zones Rules 2006, had notified and de-notified the following areas as details given below in the table: -

AND, WHEREAS, M/s. Nokia India Private Limited has now proposed for de-notification of 9.8270 hectare from the above Special Economic Zone;

AND, WHEREAS, the State Government of Tamil Nadu has given its approval to the proposal vide letter No. 5134/MIE.2/2021-1 dated 19th July, 2021;

AND, WHEREAS, the Development Commissioner, MEPZ, SEZ has recommended the proposal for de-notification of an area of 9.8270 hectare of the Special Economic Zone. Further, M/s. Salcomp Technologies India Pvt. Ltd. (located in the SEZ) will function as a DTA unit in the de-notified land;

AND, WHEREAS, the Central Government is satisfied that the requirements under sub-section (8) of section 3 of the said Act and other related requirements are fulfilled;

NOW, THEREFORE, in exercise of the powers conferred by second proviso to sub-section (1) of section 4 of the Special Economic Zones Act, 2005 and in pursuance of rule 8 of the Special Economic Zones Rules, 2006, the Central Government hereby de-notifies an area of 9.8270 hectare, thereby making the resultant area as 53.7862 hectares. The survey numbers and the areas for de-notification are given below in the table, namely:-
