सा.का.नि. 907(अ).—के न्द्रीय सरकार, सशस्त्र सीमा बल अधिनियम, 2007 (2007 का 53) की धारा 155 की उप-धारा (2) के खंड (क) और (ग) के साथ पठित उप-धारा (1) द्वारा प्रदत्त शक्तियों का प्रयोग करते हुए, सशस्त्र सीमा बल, (जनरल ड्यूटी) समूह 'ग' पद भर्ती नियम, 2011 में निम्नलिखित संशोधन करती है, अर्थात्:-
1. संक्षिप्त नाम और प्रारंभ.- (1) इन नियमों का संक्षिप्त नाम सशस्त्र सीमा बल, योधक (जनरल ड्यूटी) समूह 'ग' भर्ती (संशोधन) नियम, 2022 है।
(2) ये राजपत्र में प्रकाशन की तारीख को प्रवृत्त होंगे।
2. सशस्त्र सीमा बल योधक (जनरल ड्यूटी) समूह 'ग' भर्ती नियम, 2011 की अनुसूची में सिपाही (जनरल ड्यूटी) के पद से सम्बंधित क्रम संख्या 2 के अंतर्गत,
(i) स्तंभ (6) में,- टिप्पण को "टिप्पण 1" के रूप में क्रमांकित किया जायेगा, और टिप्पण 1 के बाद इस प्रकार क्रमांकित, निम्नलिखित टिप्पण अंत: स्थापित किये जायेंगे, अर्थात्:-
"टिप्पण 2: पूर्व अग्निवीर उम्मीदवारों के पहले बैच के अभ्यथियों के लिए ऊपरी आयु-सीमा में पांच वर्ष तक की छू ट दी जायेगी।";
2 THE GAZETTE OF INDIA : EXTRAORDINARY [PART II—SEC. 3(i)] (ii) स्तंभ (7) में,- उप-शीर्षक के "टिप्पण 1" के रूप में क्रमांकित किया जायेगा, और टिप्पण 1 के बाद, जैसा कि क्रमांकित किया गया है, निम्नलिखित टिप्पण अंत: स्थापित किया जायेगा, अर्थात्:-"टिप्पण 2: पूर्व अग्निवीरों को शारीरिक दक्षता परीक्षा (पी.ई.टी.) से छू ट दी जायेगी ।";
(iii) स्तंभ (10) में,- प्रविष्टियों के पश्चात्, निम्नलिखित टिप्पण अंत: स्थापित किया जायेगा, अर्थात्:-
"टिप्पण: सिपाही (जनरल ड्यूटी) के पद पर भर्ती के लिए दस प्रतिशत रिक्तियाँ भूतपूर्व अग्निवीरों के लिए आरक्षित होंगी ।"।

काशी नाथ, अवर सचिव टिप्पण : मूल नियम भारत राजपत्र, असाधारण, भाग II, खंड 3, उपखंड (i) में अधिसूचना संख्या सा.का.नि. 489(अ), तारीख 1 जून, 2011 द्वारा प्रकाशित किए गये थे और सा.का.नि. 571(अ), तारीख 12 जुलाई, 2012 और सा.का.नि. 152, तारीख 28 अप्रैल, 2017 द्वारा पश्चातवर्ती संशोधन किए गये थे।

NOTIFICATION
New Delhi, the 28th December, 2022
G.S.R. 907(E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) read with clauses (a) and (c) of sub- section (2) of section 155 of the Sashastra Seema Bal Act, 2007 (53 of 2007), the Central Government hereby makes the following rules further to amend the Sashastra Seema Bal Combatised (General Duty) Group „C" posts Recruitment Rules, 2011, namely:-
1. Short title and commencement.- (1) These rules may be called the Sashastra Seema Bal Combatised (General Duty) Group „C" posts Recruitment (Amendment) Rules, 2022.
(2) They shall come into force on the date of their publication in the Official Gazette.
2. In the Sashastra Seema Bal Combatised (General Duty) Group „C" posts Recruitment Rules, 2011, in the Schedule, against Serial Number 2 relating to the post of Constable (General Duty),-
(i) in column (6),- the Note shall be numbered as "Note 1" thereof, and after Note 1 as so numbered, the following Notes shall be inserted, namely:-
"Note 2: The upper age-limit shall be relaxable upto five years for the candidates of the first batch of Ex- Agniveers.";
"Note 3: The upper age-limit shall be relaxable upto three years for the candidates of Ex-Agniveers".
(ii) in column (7),- The Note to sub-heading shall be numbered as Note 1 thereof and after Note 1 as so numbered, the following Note shall be inserted, namely:-
"Note 2: Ex-Agniveers shall be exempted from Physical Efficiency Test (PET).";
(iii) in column (10), after the entries, the following Note shall be inserted, namely:-
"Note: Ten percent of vacancies shall be reserved for Ex- Agniveers, for recruitment to the post of Constable (General Duty).".

Note : The principal rules were published in the Gazette of India, Extraordinary, Part II, Section 3, Sub-section (i), vide notification number GSR 489(E), dated the 01st June, 2011 and subsequently amended, vide notification numbers G.S.R. 571(E), dated the 12th July, 2012 and G.S.R. 152, dated the 28th April, 2017.
