का.आ. 119(अ).—सुशासन के लिए आधार अधिप्रमाणन (सामाजिक कल्याण, नवाचार, ज्ञान) नियमावली, 2020 के नियम 5 के साथ पठित आधार (वित्तीय और अन्य सहायकियों, प्रसुविधाओं और सेवाओं का लक्षित परिदान) अधिनियम, 2016 (यथासंशोधित) की धारा 4 की उप-धारा (4) के खंड (ख) के उप-खंड (ii) के अनुसरण में के न्द्रीय सरकार द्वारा प्राधिकृ त किये जाने पर शिक्षा मंत्रालय, स्कू ल शिक्षा और साक्षरता विभाग एतद्द्वारा यह अधिसूचित करता है कि नवोदय विद्यालय समिति (एनवीएस) द्वारा आयोजित जवाहर नवोदय विद्यालय चयन परीक्षा में निम्नलिखित प्रयोजनों के लिए, नवोदय विद्यालय समिति को, स्वैच्छिक आधार पर, हां/नहीं प्रमाणीकरण और ई के वाईसी प्रमाणीकरण सुविधा का उपयोग करते हुए, आधार प्रमाणीकरण निष्पादन की अनुज्ञा प्रदान की जाती है:
(i) एक उम्मीदवार से एक से अधिक आवेदनों को रोकना (डी-डुप्लीके शन);
(ii) उम्मीदवारों का प्रमाणीकरण;
(iii) परीक्षाओं में प्रतिरूपण/प्रॉक्सी उम्मीदवारों की रोकथाम।
नवोदय विद्यालय समिति कें द्र सरकार द्वारा निर्धारित आधार प्रमाणीकरण के उपयोग के संबंध में दिशा निर्देशों का पालन करेगी।

NOTIFICATION
New Delhi, the 9th January, 2023
S.O. 119(E).—In pursuance of sub-clause (ii) of clause (b) of sub-section (4) of section 4 of the Aadhaar (Targeted Delivery of Financial and Other Subsidies, Benefits and Services) Act, 2016 (as amended) read with rule 5 of the Aadhaar Authentication for Good Governance (Social Welfare, Innovation, Knowledge) Rules, 2020, the Ministry of Education, Department of School Education & Literacy, having been authorized by the Central Government, hereby notifies that Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti (NVS) is allowed to perform Aadhaar authentication, on voluntary basis, using Yes/No authentication and eKYC authentication facility for the following purposes in Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya Selection Test conducted by NVS:
i. De-duplication of applications from same candidate;
ii. Authentication of candidates;
iii. Prevention of impersonation/ proxy candidates;
NVS shall adhere to the guidelines with respect to use of Aadhaar authentication as laid down by the Central Government.
