का.आ. 184(अ).—कें द्रीय सरकार, सूचना प्रौद्योगिकी अधिनियम, 2000 (2000 का 21) की धारा 70 की उप- धारा (1) और उप-धारा (2) द्वारा प्रदत्त शक्तियों का प्रयोग करते हुए, राष्ट्रीय सूचना विज्ञान कें द्र और इसके सहयुक्त आश्रितताओं के कं प्यूटर संसाधनों को नाजुक सूचना अवसंरचना होने के कारण राष्ट्रीय सूचना विज्ञान कें द्र की ई मेल अवसंरचना से संबंधित कं प्यूटर संसाधनों को, उक्त अधिनियम के प्रयोजन के लिए एतद्द्वारा संरक्षित प्रणाली घोषित करती है और निम्नलिखित कामिकों को संरक्षित प्रणालियों तक पहुंच बनाने के लिए प्राधिकृ त करती है, अर्थात् :-
(क) संरक्षित प्रणाली तक पहुंच बनाने के लिए, राष्ट्रीय सूचना विज्ञान कें द्र द्वारा लिखित रूप में प्राधिकृ त राष्ट्रीय सूचना विज्ञान कें द्र का कोई अभिहित कर्मचारी;
(ख) संविदात्मक प्रबंधित सेवा-प्रदाता या तृतीय पक्षकार विक्रे ता के दल का कोई सदस्य जिसे आवश्यकता के आधार पर पहुंच बनाने के लिए राष्ट्रीय सूचना विज्ञान कें द्र द्वारा लिखित रूप में प्राधिकृ त किया गया है; और (ग) मामला दर मामला के आधार पर, राष्ट्रीय सूचना विज्ञान कें द्र द्वारा लिखित रूप में प्राधिकृ त कोई परामर्शी, विनियामक, सरकारी पदाधिकारी, संपरीक्षक और पणधारी ।

New Delhi, the 11th January, 2023
S.O. 184(E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-sections (1) and (2) of section 70 of the Information Technology Act, 2000 (21 of 2000), the Central Government hereby declares the computer resources relating to the email infrastructure of the National Informatics Centre, being Critical Information Infrastructure of the National Informatics Centre, and the computer resources of its associated dependencies, to be protected systems for the purpose of the said Act and authorises the following personnel to access the protected systems, namely:—
(a) any designated employee of the National Informatics Centre authorised in writing by the National Informatics Centre to access the protected system;
(b) any team member of a contractual managed service provider or a third-party vendor who have been authorised in writing by the National Informatics Centre for need-based access; and
(c) any consultant, regulator, Government official, auditor and stakeholder authorised in writing by the National Informatics Centre on a case-to-case basis.
2. This notification shall come into force on the date of its publication in the Official Gazette.
