का.आ. 260(अ).—लक्षद्वीप संघ राज्यक्षेत्र के लक्षद्वीप संसदीय निर्वाचन क्षेत्र का प्रतिनिधित्व करने वाले लोक सभा सदस्य श्री मोहम्मद फै जल पी.पी को सेशन मामला संख्या 01/2017 में सेशन न्यायालय, कवरत्ती, लक्षद्वीप द्वारा दोषसिद्ध किए जाने पर वे लोक प्रतिनिधित्व अधिनियम, 1951 की धारा 8 के साथ पठित भारत के संविधान के अनुच्छेद 102(1)(ङ) के उपबंधों के अंतर्गत दोषसिद्धि की तारीख अर्थात 11 जनवरी, 2023 से लोक सभा की सदस्यता से निरर्ह हो गए है।

S.O. 260(E).—Consequent upon his conviction by the Court of Sessions, Kavaratti, Lakshadweep in Sessions case no. 01/2017, Shri Mohammed Faizal P.P., Member of Lok Sabha representing the Lakshadweep Parliamentary Constituency of the Union Territory of Lakshadweep stands disqualified from the membership of Lok Sabha from the date of his conviction i.e. 11 January, 2023 in terms of the provisions of Article 102(1)(e) of the Constitution of India read with Section 8 of the Representation of the People Act, 1951.
