का.आ. 374(अ).—कें द्रीय सरकार द्वारा भारत के राजपत्र, असाधारण, भाग II, खंड- 3, उप- खंड (ii) दिनांक 22 जुलाई, 2022 में प्रकाशित भारत सरकार के संस्कृ ति मंत्रालय (भारतीय पुरातत्त्व सर्वेक्षण) की अधिसूचना का. आ. 3362(अ), दिनांक 22 जुलाई, 2022, जिसमें प्राचीन संस्मारक तथा पुरातत्वीय स्थल और अवशेष अधिनियम, 1958 (1958 का 24) की धारा 4 की उप धारा (1) यथा अपेक्षानुसार उक्त अधिसूचना के साथ संलग्न स्थल मानचित्र और अनुसूची में विनिर्दिष्ट प्राचीन नौला, ग्राम स्यूनराकोट, तहसील सोमेश्वर, ज़िला अल्मोड़ा, राज्य उत्तराखण्ड को राष्ट्रीय महत्त्व का प्राचीन स्मारक घोषित करने के अपने आशय की दो मास की अवधि की सूचना दी थी और उक्त अधिसूचना की एक प्रतिलिपि उक्त प्राचीन स्मारक के निकट सहज दृश्य स्थान पर चिपका दी गई थी;

और, उक्त अधिसूचना की प्रतिलिपियां दिनांक 22 जुलाई, 2022 को जनता को उपलब्ध करा दी गई थी;

और, कें द्रीय सरकार द्वारा की गई ऐसी घोषणा पर जनता से ऐसी कोई आपत्ति प्राप्त नहीं हुई है;

अत: कें द्रीय सरकार उक्त अधिनियम की धारा 4 की उप-धारा (3) द्वारा प्रदत्त शक्तियों का प्रयोग करते हुए, एतद्द्वारा इसके साथ संलग्न स्थल मानचित्र और अनुसूची में विनिर्दिष्ट प्राचीन नौला, ग्राम स्यूनराकोट को राष्ट्रीय महत्त्व का प्राचीन स्मारक घोषित करती है।

(ARCHAEOLOGICAL SURVEY OF INDIA)

NOTIFICATION

New Delhi, the 18th January, 2023

S.O. 374(E).—Whereas, by the notification of the Government of India, in the Ministry of Culture (Archaeological Survey of India) number S.O. 3362(E), dated the 22nd July, 2022 published in the Gazette of India, Extraordinary, Part II, Section 3, Sub-section (ii), dated the 22nd July, 2022, the Central Government gave two months' notice of its intention to declare the Ancient Naula, Village Syunrakot, Tehsil Someshwar, District Almora, State Uttarakhand, specified in the Site Plan and the Schedule annexed to the said notification to be an ancient monument of national importance and a copy of the said notification was affixed in a conspicuous place near the said Ancient Naula, as required by sub section (1) of section 4 of the Ancient Monuments and Archaeological Sites and Remains Act, 1958 (24 of 1958);

And whereas, copies of the aforesaid notification were made available to the public on the 22nd July, 2022;

And whereas, no objection has been received from the public to the making of such declaration by the Central Government.

Now, therefore, in exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (3) of section 4 of the said Act, the Central Government hereby declares that the Ancient Naula, Village Syunrakot specified in the Schedule and site plan annexed hereto, to be an ancient monument of national importance.
