का.आ. 4994(अ).—के न्द्रीय सरकार, पर्यावरण (संरक्षण) अधिनियम, 1986 (1986 का 29) की धारा 10 की उपधारा (1) द्वारा प्रदत्त शक्तियों का प्रयोग करते हुए का.आ. 83 (अ), तारीख 16 फरवरी, भारत के राजपत्र, असाधारण, भाग II, खंड 3, उपखंड (ii), 1987 में प्रकाशित, भारत सरकार के तत्कालीन पर्यावरण और वन मंत्रालय की अधिसूचना में निम्नलिखित और संशोधन करती है अर्थात:-

उक्त अधिसूचना में-

(i) पैरा 1 में, "धारा 10" शब्दों और अंकों के स्थान पर, "पर्यावरण संरक्षण अधिनियम, 1986 (1986 का 29) की धारा 10" शब्द, अंक और कोष्ठक रखे जाएँगे;

(ii) तालिका में, क्रम संख्या 64 और उससे संबंधित प्रविष्टियों के स्थान पर, निम्नलिखित क्रम संख्या और प्रविष्टियां रखी जाएंगी,

"64	संयुक्त सचिव और वैज्ञानिक (ग्रेड 'बी' से ग्रेड 'जी') कार्यरत पर्यावरण, वन और जलवायु परिवर्तन मंत्रालय, नई दिल्ली, जिसके अंतर्गत इसके क्षेत्रीय कार्यालय और उप-कार्यालय भी हैं।"।

MINISTRY OF ENVIRONMENT, FOREST AND CLIMATE CHANGE

NOTIFICATION

New Delhi, the 21st November, 2023

S.O. 4994(E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 10 of the Environment (Protection) Act, 1986 (29 of 1986), the Central Government hereby makes the following further amendment in the notification of the Government of India, in the erstwhile Ministry of Environment and Forests, published in the Gazette of India, Extraordinary, Part II, Section 3, Sub-section (ii), vide notification number S.O. 83 (E), dated the 16th February, 1987, namely:-

In the said notification-

(i) in paragraph 1, for the words and figures, "section 10", the words, figures and brackets, "section 10 of the Environment (Protection) Act,1986 (29 of 1986)" shall be substituted;

(ii) in the Table, for serial number 64 and the entries relating thereto, the following serial number and entries shall be substituted, namely:-

"64	Joint Secretary and Scientists (Grade 'B' to Grade 'G') working in the Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change, New Delhi, including its Regional Offices and its Sub-offices.".

Note.-The principal notification was published in the Gazette of India vide number S.O. 83(E), dated the 16th February, 1987 and lastly amended vide number S.O. 4648(E) , dated the 30th September, 2022.
