फा. सं. जे-9/11/2019-सीपीयू.—कें द्रीय सरकार, उपभोक्ता संरक्षण अधिनियम, 2019 (2019 का 35) की धारा 10 की उप-धारा (2) और धारा 15 की उप-धारा (2) द्वारा प्रदत्त शक्तियों का प्रयोग करते हुए और दिनांक 25 सितम्बर, 2023 एवं 30 नवंबर, 2023 की समसंख्यक राजपत्रित अधिसूचनाओं के क्रम में, कें द्रीय उपभोक्ता संरक्षण प्राधिकरण (सीसीपीए) के सुचारू कार्यकरण के लिए कें द्रीय उपभोक्ता संरक्षण प्राधिकरण की संरचना में परिवर्तन करते हुए और कें द्रीय उपभोक्ता संरक्षण प्राधिकरण के अन्वेषण खंड की संरचना को प्रतिस्थापित करते हुए विभाग की दिनांक 29 जुलाई, 2020 की समसंख्यक अधिसूचना को निम्नानुसार संशोधित करती है:

उपभोक्ता मामले विभाग में श्री विनीत माथुर, संयुक्त सचिव को भी आयुक्त का अतिरिक्त प्रभार सौंपकर कें द्रीय उपभोक्ता संरक्षण प्राधिकरण में आयुक्तों की संख्या को बढ़ाकर दो करते हुए, कें द्रीय उपभोक्ता संरक्षण प्राधिकरण के कार्यबल को निम्नानुसार संशोधित किया जाता है-

New Delhi, the 13th December, 2023
F. No. J-9/11/2019-CPU.—In the exercise of powers conferred by sub-section (2) of section 10 and sub- section (2) of section 15 of the Consumer Protection Act, 2019 (35 of 2019) and in continuation of the Gazette Notifications of even number dated 25th September 2023 and 30th November 2023, the Central Government amends this Department's notification of even number dated 29th July 2020 by modifying the composition of the Central Consumer Protection Authority and substituting the composition of Investigation Wing of Central Consumer Protection Authority for smooth functioning of the Central Consumer Protection Authority [CCPA] as under:

The strength of CCPA stands modified by increasing the strength of the Commissioners in CCPA to two by assigning additional charge of Commissioner also to Shri Vineet Mathur, Joint Secretary in the Department of Consumer Affairs as follows-
