सा.का.नि. 927(अ).—के न्रीय सरकार, सिक्का निर्माण अधिनियम, 2011 (2011 का 11) की धारा 24 की उपधारा (2) के खंड (घ) और खंड (ड.) द्वारा प्रदत्त शक्तियों का प्रयोग करते हुए, निम्नलिखित नियम बनाती है, अर्थात्:-
1. संक्षिप्त नाम और प्रारम्भ.- (1) इन नियमों का संक्षिप्त नाम सिक्का निर्माण (कर्णाटका बैंक का शताब्दी वर्ष के अवसर पर स्मारक सिक्का जारी करना) नियम, 2023 है।
(2) ये राजपत्र में इनके प्रकाशन की तारीख को प्रवृत्त होंगे।
2. सिक्के का मूल्यवर्ग.- कर्णाटका बैंक का शताब्दी वर्ष के अवसर पर कें रीय सरकार के प्राधिकार के अधीन जारी करने के लिए टकसाल में के वल एक सौ रुपये मूल्य वर्ग का सिक्का ढाला जाएगा ।
3. सिक्के की विमाएं और संरचना.- नियम 2 में उल्लिखित मूल्य वर्ग के सिक्के , निम्नलिखित विमाओं और संरचना के अनुरूप होंगे, अर्थात्:-

4. डिज़ाइन.– सिक्के का डिज़ाइन वह होगा जो इन नियमों की पहली अनुसूची में यथा विर्निर्दष्ट है।
5. मानक वजन और अनुज्ञात उपचार.- कर्णाटका बैंक का शताब्दी वर्ष के अवसर पर स्मरणोत्सव मनाने के लिए नियम 2 में र्निर्दष्ट मूल्य वर्ग के ढाले गए सिक्के का मानक वजन और ऐसे सिक्के को बनाने में अनुज्ञात उपचार वह होगा जो इन नियमों की दूसरी अनुसूची में यथा विर्निर्दष्ट है।

अग्र भाग:
सिक्के के इस भाग पर मध्य में अशोक स्तम्भ का सिंह स्तम्भ शीर्ष होगा, जिसके नीचे "सत्यमेव जयते" लेख उत्र्कीर्णत होगा, उसकी बाईं परिधि पर देवनागरी लिपि में "भारत" शब्द और दाईं परिधि पर अंग्रेजी में "INDIA" शब्द होगा। सिंह स्तम्भ शीर्ष के नीचे रुपये का प्रतीक "₹" और अंतर्राष्ट्रीय अंकों में अंकित मूल्य "100" भी होगा ।
पृष्ट भाग:
सिक्के के अग्रभाग के मध्य में कर्णाटका बैंक के शताब्दी वर्ष का प्रतीक चिन्ह होगा। प्रतीक चिन्ह के नीचे "1924-2024" लिखा होगा। सिक्के के ऊपरी परिधि पर वृत्ताकार में देवनागरी में कर्णाटका बैंक का शताब्दी वर्ष उत्कीर्ण होगा और सिक्के के निचली परिधि पर अंग्रेजी में "CENTENARY YEAR OF KARNATAKA BANK" उत्कीर्ण होगा।

NOTIFICATION
New Delhi, the 29th December, 2023
G.S.R. 927(E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by clauses (d) and (e) of sub-section (2) of section 24 of the Coinage Act, 2011(11 of 2011), the Central Government hereby makes the following rules, namely:-
1. Short title and commencement.- (1) These rules may be called the Coinage (Issue of Commemorative Coin on the occasion of centenary celebration of Karnataka Bank) Rules, 2023.
(2) They shall come into force on the date of their publication in the Official Gazette.

2. Denomination of coin.- The coin of One Hundred Rupees denomination shall be coined at the Mint for issue under the authority of the Central Government on the occasion of centenary celebration of Karnataka Bank.
3. Dimension and composition of coin.- The denomination of the coin mentioned in rule 2 shall conform to the following dimensions and composition, namely:-

4. Design.- The design of the coin shall be as specified in the First Schedule to these rules.
5. Standard weight and remedy allowed.- The standard weight of the denomination referred in rule 2 shall be coined to commemorate the occasion of centenary celebration of Karnataka Bank and the remedy allowed in making of such coin shall be as specified in the Second Schedule to these rules.

ONE HUNDRED RUPEES
OBVERSE:
This face of the coin shall bear the Lion Capitol of Ashoka Pillar in the centre with the legend "सत्यमेव जयते" inscribed below, flanked on the left periphery with the word "भारत" in Devnagri script and on the right periphery with the word "INDIA" in English. It shall also bear the Rupee symbol "₹" and denominational value "100" in the international numerals below the Lion Capitol.
REVERSE:
The face of the coin at the centre shall bear the logo featuring centenary celebration of Karnataka Bank. The inscription "1924-2024" shall be written below the logo. Along the upper periphery of the coin, the inscription र्कणाटकण बैंक कण शतणब्दी र्वा shall be written in Devnagari script and the inscription CENTENARY YEAR OF KARNATAKA BANK in English shall be depicted on the lower periphery of the coin.
