2. The appointment of the above officers shall be subject to the outcome of the following court cases:-

i. Civil Appeal No. 629/2022 in Hon'ble Supreme Court of India and connected matters(Jarnail Singh batch of cases).

ii. SLP No. 30621/2011 in the Hon'ble Supreme Court of India

iii. SLP No. 31288/2017 in the Hon'ble Supreme Court of India

iv. Any other connected court cases before/orders of the competent courts of law having bearing on the results of the examination under reference.
