आ.अ. 03(अ).—लोक प्रतिनिधित्व अधिनियम, 1951 (1951 का 43) की धारा 21 के अनुसरण में एवं उक्त अधिनियम की धारा 22 की उपधारा (1) द्वारा प्रदत्त शक्तियों को प्रयोग करते हुए, भारत निर्वाचन आयोग राष्ट्रीय राजधानी क्षेत्र दिल्ली सरकार के परामर्श से 02 जनवरी, 2024 को भारत के राजपत्र में प्रकाशित आयोग की अधिसूचना के अनुसरण में राज्य सभा के लिए होने वाले तीनों द्विवार्षिक निर्वाचनों के संबंध में एतद्द्वारा-

(i) नीचे की सारणी के स्तंभ (1) में विनिर्दिष्ट अधिकारी को रिटर्निंग ऑफिसर के रूप में पदाभिहित करता है, तथा (ii) उक्त सारणी के स्तंभ (2) में विनिर्दिष्ट अधिकारी को रिटर्निंग ऑफिसर के कृ त्यों के निष्पादन में सहायता के लिए, सहायक रिटर्निंग ऑफिसर के रूप में नियुक्त करता है;

New Delhi, the 2nd January, 2024

O.N. 03(E).— In pursuance of Section 21, and in exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of Section 22 of the Representation of the People Act, 1951 (43 of 1951), the Election Commission of India, in consultation with the Government of the National Capital Territory of Delhi, hereby-

(i) designates the officer, specified in the corresponding entry in column (1) of the said TABLE to be the Returning Officer; and

(ii) appoints the officer, specified in the corresponding entry in column (2) of the said TABLE, to be the Assistant Returning Officer to assist the Returning Officer in the performance of his functions;

in respect of all three biennial elections to the Council of States, to be held in that State in pursuance of the Notification of the President of India, published in the Gazette of India on 02nd January, 2024: -
