आदेश

नई दिल्ली, 4 जनवरी, 2024

का.आ. 68(अ).—कें द्रीय सरकार, भारतीय मानक ब्यूरो अधिनियम, 2016 (2016 का 11) की धारा 16 द्वारा प्रदत्त शक्तियों का प्रयोग करते हुए, भारतीय मानक ब्यूरो के साथ परामर्श करने के पश्चात, की यह राय है कि लोकहित में ऐसा करना आवश्यक है, मोल्डिग और एक्सट्रूज़न के लिए पॉलिएथीलीन सामग्री (गुणवत्ता नियंत्रण) आदेश, 2022, में और संशोधन करने के लिए निम्नलिखित और आदेश करती है, अर्थात्:-

1. (1) इस आदेश का संक्षिप्त नाम मोल्डिग और एक्सट्रूज़न के लिए पॉलिएथीलीन सामग्री (गुणवत्ता नियंत्रण) संशोधन आदेश, 2024 है।

(2) यह राजपत्र में इसके प्रकाशन की तारीख को लागू होगा।

2. मोल्डिग और एक्सट्रूज़न के लिए पॉलिएथीलीन सामग्री (गुणवत्ता नियंत्रण) आदेश, 2022 के , पैरा 1 के , उपपैरा (3) के स्थान पर, निम्नलिखित अत: स्थापित किया जाएगा, अर्थात्: -

"परन्तु, इस आदेश की कोई भी बात मोल्डिग और एक्सट्रूज़न के लिए पॉलिएथीलीन सामग्री के निम्नलिखित वर्गों पर लागू नहीं होगी, अर्थात्:-

क) कम घनत्व वाली पॉलिएथीलीन एक्सट्रूज़न (एलडीपीई) कोटिग;

ख) कम घनत्व वाली पॉलिएथीलीन (एलडीपीई) फिल्म ग्रेड (ब्लो/कास्ट) या फार्मा;

च) पावर के बल, जैके टिग और अन्य अनुप्रयोगों के बेस रेजिन; और

छ) के बल जैके टिग/शीथिग/पॉलिएथीलीन-80 और पॉलिएथीलीन-100 (काला और पिगमेंटेड)/रीइनफोसर्मेंट फिलर्स के लिए यौगिक"।

दीपक मिश्रा, संयुक्त सचिव टिप्पणः मोल्डिग और एक्सट्रूज़न के लिए पॉलिएथीलीन सामग्री (क्वालिटी नियंत्रण) आदेश, 2022 भारत के राजपत्र, असाधारण, भाग II, खंड 3, उपखंड (ii) में संख्याक का.आ. 1647 (अ), तारीख 5 अप्रैल, 2022 द्वारा प्रकाशित किया गया था और तत्पश्चात संख्याक का.आ. 4601 (अ), तारीख 29 सितंबर, 2022, का.आ. 1557 (अ), तारीख 31 मार्च, 2023 और का.आ. 4235 (अ), तारीख 26 सितंबर, 2023 द्वारा संशोधित किए गए थे।

ORDER

New Delhi, the 4th January, 2024.

S.O. 68(E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by section 16 of the Bureau of Indian Standards Act, 2016 (11 of 2016), the Central Government, after consulting the Bureau of Indian Standards, is of the opinion that it is necessary so to do in the public interest, hereby makes the following order further to amend the Polyethylene Material for Moulding and Extrusion (Quality Control) Order, 2022, namely: —

1. (1) This Order may be called the Polyethylene Material for Moulding and Extrusion (Quality Control) Amendment Order, 2024.

(2) It shall come into force on the date of its publication in the Official Gazette.

2. In the Polyethylene Material for Moulding and Extrusion (Quality Control) Order, 2022, in paragraph 1, in sub- paragraph (3), the following proviso shall be inserted, namely: —

"Provided that, nothing in this Order shall apply to the following classes of polyethylene material for moulding and extrusion, namely:-

a) Low Density Polyethylene Extrusion (LDPE) Coating;

b) Low Density Polyethylene (LDPE) Film Grades (Blown/ Cast) or Pharma;

c) Linear Low Density Polyethylene (LLDPE) Butene Grades;

d) Linear Low Density Polyethylene (LLDPE) Hexene/ Octene Grades;

e) Metallocene Polyethylene Grades;

f) Base Resins of Power Cable, Jacketing and other applications; and

g) compounds for Cable Jacketing/ Sheathing/ Polyethylene-80 and Polyethylene-100 (Black and Pigmented)/ Reinforcement Fillers".

Note : The Polyethylene Material for Moulding and Extrusion (Quality Control) Order, 2022 was published in the Gazette of India, Extraordinary, Part II, section 3, sub-section (ii) vide number S.O. 1647(E), the dated the 5th April, 2022 and subsequently amended vide notification numbers S.O. 4601(E), dated the 29th September, 2022, S.O. 1557(E), dated the 31st March, 2023 and S.O. 4235(E), dated the 26th September,2023.
