का.आ. 179(अ).—तहरीक-ए-हुर्रियत, जम्मू और कश्मीर को भारत के राजपत्र, असाधारण, भाग II, खंड 3, उप-खंड (ii) में प्रकाशित अधिसूचना संख्या का.आ. 5532(अ) तारीख़ 31 दिसम्बर 2023 द्वारा एक विधिविरुद्ध संगम घोषित किया गया है |

अतः अब, कें द्रीय सरकार, विधिविरुद्ध क्रियाकलाप (निवारण) अधिनियम, 1967 (1967 का 37) की धारा 4 की उपधारा (1) के साथ पठित धारा 5 की उपधारा (1) द्वारा प्रदत्त शक्तियों का प्रयोग करते हुए, इस न्यायनिर्णयन के प्रयोजन के लिए कि तहरीक-ए-हुर्रियत, जम्मू और कश्मीर को एक विधिविरुद्ध संगम घोषित करने के लिए पर्याप्त कारण हैं या नहीं, न्यायमूर्ति सचिन दत्ता, दिल्ली उच्च न्यायलय से मिलकर बनने वाले विधिविरुद्ध क्रियाकलाप (निवारण) अधिकरण का गठन करती है |

New Delhi, the 16th January, 2024

S.O. 179(E).—Whereas, Tehreek-e-Hurriyat, Jammu and Kashmir has been declared as an unlawful association vide notification number S.O. 5532(E), dated the 31st December, 2023, published in the Gazette of India, Extraordinary, Part II, Section 3, Sub-section (ii).

Now, therefore, in exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 5 read with sub-section (1) of section 4 of the Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act, 1967 (37 of 1967), the Central Government hereby constitutes the Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Tribunal consisting of Justice Sachin Datta, Judge, High Court of Delhi, for the purpose of adjudicating whether or not there is sufficient cause for declaring the Tehreek-e-Hurriyat, Jammu and Kashmir as an unlawful association.
