का.आ. 325(अ).—कें द्रीय सरकार, तंबाकू बोर्ड अधिनियम, 1975 (1975 का 4) की धारा 20 ए द्वारा प्रदत्त शक्तियों का प्रयोग करते हुए, तंबाकू बोर्ड को फसल सीजन 2023-2024 के दौरान कर्नाटक राज्य में पंजीकृ त उत्पादकों द्वारा उत्पादित अतिरिक्त फ्लू क्यूर्ड वर्जीनिया तम्बाकू और अपंजीकृ त उत्पादकों द्वारा उत्पादित अप्राधिकृ त फ्लू क्यूर्ड वर्जीनिया तम्बाकू की कर्नाटक राज्य में इसके नीलामी प्लेटफार्मों पर नीलामी में तंबाकू बोर्ड के पंजीकृ त व्यापारियों और डीलरों को उक्त अधिनियम के तहत सामान्य लागू सेवा प्रभारों के भुगतान पर खरीद की अनुमति देने के लिए प्राधिकृ त करती है।
2. वर्ष 2024 के लिए तंबाकू फसल के संबंध में अधिकारों के रिकॉर्ड की एक प्रति प्रस्तुत की जानी है।
[फा. सं. 5/3/2019-ईपी(एग्री-VI)/ पार्ट] 2 THE GAZETTE OF INDIA : EXTRAORDINARY [PART II—SEC. 3(ii)] MINISTRY OF COMMERCE AND INDUSTRY (Department of Commerce) NOTIFICATION New Delhi, the 23rd January, 2024 S.O. 325(E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by section 20A of the Tobacco Board Act, 1975 (4 of 1975), the Central Government hereby authorises the Tobacco Board to allow the registered traders and dealers of the Tobacco Board to purchase at their auction platforms in the State of Karnataka for the auctions during Crop Season 2023-2024, the excess flue cured virginia tobacco produced by registered growers and unauthorised flue cured virginia tobacco produced by unregistered growers in the State of Karnataka on the payment of normal applicable service charges under the said Act.
2. A copy of the Record of Rights in respect of tobacco crop for the year 2024 is to be furnished.

का.आ. 326(अ).—यतः, के न्द्रीय सरकार इस बात से संतुष्ट है कि ऐसी परिस्थितियां उत्पन्न हो गई हैं जिनके कारण जनहित में यह आवश्यक हो गया है कि तंबाकू बोर्ड अधिनियम, 1975 (1975 का 4) द्वारा लगाए गए प्रतिबंधों में ढील प्रदान की जाए;
और, यत: के न्द्रीय सरकार यह आवश्यक समझती है कि कर्नाटक राज्य में पंजीकृ त उत्पादकों की अतिरिक्त फ्लू क्योर्ड वर्जीनिया तम्बाकू तथा अपंजीकृ त उत्पादकों द्वारा उत्पादित अनधिकृ त फ्लू क्योर्ड वर्जीनिया तम्बाकू की बिक्री तम्बाकू बोर्ड के निर्दिष्ट नीलामी मंचों से की जाए;
इसलिए, अब, तम्बाकू बोर्ड अधिनियम, 1975 की धारा 30 की उप-धारा (1) द्वारा प्रदत्त शक्तियों का प्रयोग करते हुए, के न्द्रीय सरकार, एतद्वारा कर्नाटक राज्य में उक्त अधिनियम की धारा 14 (ए) की उप धारा (1) के साथ पठित धारा 10 की उप धारा (1) के प्रावधानों के प्रवर्तन में वर्ष 2023-24 के फसली मौसम में फसल की नीलामी के दौरान जनहित में ढील प्रदान करती है तथा पंजीकृ त उत्पादकों की अतिरिक्त फ्लू क्योर्ड वर्जीनिया तम्बाकू की पैदावार तथा अपंजीकृ त उत्पादकों की अनधिकृ त फ्लू क्योर्ड वर्जीनिया तम्बाकू की पैदावार की बिक्री तम्बाकू बोर्ड द्वारा प्राधिकृ त नीलामी मंचों पर करने की अनुमति प्रदान करती है।

NOTIFICATION
New Delhi, the 23rd January, 2024
S.O. 326(E).— WHEREAS the Central Government is satisfied that circumstances have arisen rendering it necessary in the public interest, to relax the restrictions imposed by the Tobacco Board Act, 1975 (4 of 1975);
AND WHEREAS the Central Government considers it necessary in the public interest to dispose of the excess flue cured virginia tobacco of registered growers and flue cured virginia tobacco of unregistered growers at the authorised auction platforms of the Tobacco Board in the State of Karnataka;
Now, therefore, in exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 30 of the Tobacco Board Act, 1975, the Central Government in the public interest hereby relaxes the operation of the provisions of sub-section (1) of section 10 read with sub-section (1) of section 14A of the said Act in the State of Karnataka for the auctions during the crop season 2023-2024, and permits the sale of excess flue cured virginia tobacco crop of the registered growers and unauthorised flue cured virginia tobacco crop of the unregistered growers at the auction platforms authorised by the Tobacco Board.
