NOTIFICATION
New Delhi, the 24th January, 2024
G.S.R. 74(E).— In exercise of the powers conferred by clause (2) of Article 146 of the Constitution, the Chief Justice of India hereby makes the following amendment to the Supreme Court Officers and Servants (Conditions of Services and Conduct) Rules, 1961:-
I. The following be substituted in Column No. 5- Experience, if any, prescribed for the post against the ex-cadre post of Director (Library) – Category No. 13 :

| Minimum 4 years' experience as Chief Librarian or in an equivalent post (in Level 12 of the Pay Matrix) in any prestigious Library preferably a Law Library; OR Minimum 7 years' composite experience with at least 2 years' experience as Chief Librarian or in an equivalent post (in Level 12 of the Pay Matrix) and as Librarian (in Level 11 of the Pay Matrix) or in an equivalent post in any prestigious Library preferably a Law Library; OR Minimum 10 years' experience as Librarian (in Level 11 of the Pay Matrix) or in an equivalent post in any prestigious Library preferably a Law Library. |
