सा.का.नि. 746(अ).— के न्रीय सरकार, उपभोक्ता संरक्षण अधिनियम, 2019 (2019 का 35) की धारा 57 की उपधारा (3) के साथ पठित धारा 101 की उपधारा (2) के खंड (यख) द्वारा प्रदत्त शक्तियों का प्रयोग करते हुए, राष्ट्रीय उपभोक्ता विवाद प्रतितोष आयोग (समूह 'क' पद) भर्ती नियम, 2023 में और संशोधन करने के लिए निम्नलिखित नियम बनाती है, अर्थात्: -
1. संक्षिप्त नाम और प्रारंभ. — (1) इन नियमों का संक्षिप्त नाम राष्ट्रीय उपभोक्ता विवाद प्रतितोष आयोग (समूह 'क' पद) भर्ती (द्वितीय संशोधन) नियम, 2024 है।
2) वे राजपत्र में उनके प्रकाशन की तारीख से लागू होंगे।
2. राष्ट्रीय उपभोक्ता विवाद प्रतितोष आयोग (समूह 'क' पद) भर्ती नियम, 2023 में, अनुसूची में, वरिष्ठ प्रधान निजी सचिव के पद से संबंधित क्रम संख्या 3 के सामने, स्तम्भ (12) के अधीन प्रविष्टियों के लिए, निम्नलिखित को रखा जाएगा, अर्थात्: -
"खोज-सह-चयन समिति (चयन पर विचार करने के लिए) जिसमें सम्मिलित हैं:-
2 THE GAZETTE OF INDIA : EXTRAORDINARY [PART II—SEC. 3(i)] (ii) अपर सचिव अथवा संयुक्त सचिव, उपभोक्ता मामले विभाग - सदस्य;(iii) रजिस्ट्रार अथवा संयुक्त रजिस्ट्रार, राष्ट्रीय उपभोक्ता विवाद प्रतितोष आयोग - सदस्य।"

NOTIFICAION
New Delhi, the 3rd December, 2024
G.S.R. 746(E).— – In exercise of the powers conferred by clause (zb) of sub-section (2) of section 101 read with sub-section (3) of section 57 of the Consumer Protection Act, 2019 (35 of 2019), the Central Government hereby makes the following rules further to amend the National Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission (Group 'A' posts) Recruitment Rules, 2023, namely:-
1. Short title and commencement – (1) These rules may be called the National Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission (Group 'A' posts) Recruitment (Second Amendment) Rules, 2024.
(2) They shall come into force on the date of their publication in the Official Gazette.
2. In the National Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission (Group 'A' posts) Recruitment Rules, 2023, in the Schedule, against serial number 3, relating to the post of Senior Principal Private Secretary, for the entries under column (12), the following shall be substituted, namely:-
"Search-cum-Selection Committee (for considering selection) consisting of:-
(i) Member, National Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission – Chairperson;
(ii) Additional Secretary or Joint Secretary, Department of Consumer Affairs – Member;
(iii) Registrar or Joint Registrar, National Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission – Member.".
