सा.का.नि. 725(अ).— कें द्रीय सरकार, रेल दावा अधिकरण अधिनियम, 1987 (1987 का 54) की धारा 30 की उप- धारा (2) के खंड (ग), खंड (ङ), खंड (च) और खंड (छ) द्वारा प्रदत्त शक्तियों का प्रयोग करते हुए, रेल दावा अधिकरण (प्रयििा) नियम, 1989 का और संशोधन करने के लिए निम्नलिखित नियम बनाती है, अर्थात्:-
1. (1) इन नियमों का संक्षिप्त नाम रेल दावा अधिकरण (प्रयििा) संशोधन नियम, 2024 है।
(2) ये राजपत्र में उनके प्रकाशन की तारीख से प्रवृत्त होंगे।
2. रेल दावा अधिकरण (प्रयििा) नियम, 1989 (जिसे इसमें इसके पश्चात् उक्त नियम कहा गया है), की अनुसूची 1 में-

(1)2 THE GAZETTE OF INDIA : EXTRAORDINARY [PART II—SEC. 3(i)] (i) मि संख्या 2 और उससे संबंधित प्रविष्टियों के स्थान पर, निम्नलिखित मि संख्याक और प्रविष्टियां रखी जांएगी, अर्थात्:-
| "2. प्रयागराज | उत्तर प्रदेश के बांदा, चित्रकू ट, फ़तेहपुर, हमीरपुर, जालौन, झाँसी, कानपुर देहात, कानपुर नगर, कौशांबी, ललितपुर, महोबा और प्रयागराज जिले" ; |
(ii) मि संख्या 15 और उससे संबंधित प्रविष्टियों के स्थान पर, निम्नलिखित मि संख्या और प्रविष्टियां रखी जांएगी, अर्थात्:-
| "15. लखनऊ | उत्तर प्रदेश के बाराबंकी, हरदोई, कन्नौज, लखीमपुर खीरी, लखनऊ, प्रतापगढ़, शाहजहाँपुर, सीतापुर और उन्नाव जिले। |
3. उक्त नियमों में, अनुसूची 1(क) में, मि संख्या 2 और उससे संबंधित प्रविष्टियों के स्थान पर, निम्नलिखित मि संख्या और प्रविष्टियां रखी जांएगी, अर्थात्:-
| "2. | उत्तर क्षेत्र | उपाध्यक्ष (तकनीकी) | प्रयागराज | च ंडीगढ़, दिल्ली, गोरखपुर, लखनऊ, प्रयागराज और वाराणसी।" |

NOTIFICATION
New Delhi, the 19th December, 2024
G.S.R. 725(E).— In exercise of the powers conferred by clauses (c) , (e), (f) and (g) of sub-section (2) of section 30 of the Railway Claims Tribunal Act, 1987 (54 of 1987), the Central Government hereby makes the following rules further to amend the Railway Claims Tribunal (Procedure) Rules, 1989, namely:—
1. (1) These rules may be called the Railway Claims Tribunal (Procedure) Amendment Rules, 2024.
(2) They shall come into force on the date of their publication in the Official Gazette.
2. In the Railway Claims Tribunal (Procedure) Rules, 1989 (hereinafter referred to as the said rules), in SCHEDULE 1,—
(i) for serial number 2 and the entries relating thereto, the following serial number and entries shall be substituted, namely:—
| "2. Prayagraj | Banda, Chitrakoot, Fatehpur, Hamirpur, Jalaun, Jhansi, Kanpur Dehat, Kanpur Nagar, Kaushambi, Lalitpur, Mahoba, and Prayagraj districts of Uttar Pradesh." ; |
(ii) for serial number 15 and the entries relating thereto, the following serial number and entries shall be substituted, namely:—
| "15. Lucknow | Barabanki, Hardoi, Kannauj, Lakhimpur Kheri, Lucknow, Pratapgarh, Shahjehanpur, Sitapur, and Unnao districts of Uttar Pradesh.". |
3. In the said rules, in SCHEDULE 1(A), for serial number 2 and the entries relating thereto, the following serial number and entries shall be substituted, namely:—
| "2. | North Zone | Vice- Chairman (Technical) | Prayagraj | Chandigarh, Delhi, Gorakhpur, Lucknow, Prayagraj and Varanasi.". |
