का.आ. 289(अ).— के न्रीय सरकार, जैव विविधता अधिनियम, 2002 (2003 का 18) की धारा 4 की उप- धाराएं (1) और (4) के अधीन भारत के राजपत्र, असाधारण, भाग-2, खंड 3, उप-खंड (ii) में प्रकाशित अधिसूचना संख्या का.आ. 1147(अ), तारीख 01 अक्तू बर, 2003 द्वारा राष्ट्रीय जैव विविधता प्राधिकरण की स्थापना करती है | और कें रीय सरकार ने समय-समय पर इस प्राधिकरण के सदस्यों को नियुक्त करने के संबंध में विभिन्न अधिसूचनाएं जारी की हैं;
अब, अत: के न्रीय सरकार, जैविक विविधता अधिनियम, 2002 (2003 का 18) की धारा 8 की उप-धारा (4) द्वारा प्रदत्त शक्तियों का प्रयोग करते हुए निम्नलिखित सदस्यों को राष्ट्रीय जैव विविधता प्राधिकरण में नियुक्त करती है और इस प्रयोजन के लिए भारत सरकार के तत्कालीन पर्यावरण और वन मंत्रालय, की अधिसूचना संख्या का.आ. 1147(अ), तारीख 01 अक्तू बर, 2003 निम्नलिखित संशोधन करती है, अर्थात :-

NOTIFICATION
New Delhi, the 15th January, 2025
S.O. 289(E)— WHEREAS the Central Government established the National Biodiversity Authority under sub-sections (1) and (4) of section 4 of the Biological Diversity Act, 2002 (18 of 2003) vide notification number S.O. 1147(E), dated the 1st October, 2003 published in the Gazette of India, Extraordinary, Part-II, Section 3, Sub- section (ii);
AND WHEREAS the Central Government has issued various notification in this regard to appoint the members of the Authority from time to time;
NOW, THEREFORE, in exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (4) of section 8 of the Biological Diversity Act, 2002 (18 of 2003), the Central Government hereby appoints the following members to the National Biodiversity Authority and for that purpose makes the following further amendment in the notification of the Government of India in the erstwhile Ministry of Environment and Forests number S.O. 1147 (E), dated the 1 st October, 2003, namely:-
1. In the said notification, for serial numbers (1) to (16) and the entries relating thereto, the following serial numbers and entries shall be substituted, namely:-
