का.आ. 441(अ).— कें द्रीय सरकार पर्यावरण (संरक्षण) अधिनियम, 1986 (1986 का 29) की धारा 3 की उपधारा (1) और उपधारा (3) द्वारा प्रदत्त शक्तियों का प्रयोग करते हुए, एतद्द्वारा ताज ट्रापेजियम जोन प्रदूषण (निवारण और नियंत्रण) प्राधिकरण (जिसे इसमें इसके पश्चात् प्राधिकरण कहा गया है) का गठन करती है, जिसमें निम्नलिखित व्यक्ति शामिल होंगे, अर्थात्:-

उपाध्यक्ष;

2. ताज ट्रापेजियम जोन की भौगोलिक सीमा ताजमहल के पश्चिम में 26° 45' उ. और 77° 15' पू. से 27° 45' उ. और 77° 15' पू. और पूर्व में ताजमहल 27° 00' उ. और 78° 30' पू. से 27° 30' उ. और 78° 30' पू. के बीच, ट्रापेजियम के आकार में परिभाषित की गई है। जो उत्तर प्रदेश राज्य के आगरा डिवीजन और राजस्थान राज्य के भरतपुर डिवीजन में स्थित है ।
3. प्राधिकरण को क्रमश: उत्तर प्रदेश और राजस्थान राज्यों में ताज ट्रापेजियम जोन में आगरा डिवीजन और भरतपुर डिवीजन की प्रादेशिक सीमाओं के भीतर निम्नलिखित की शक्ति होगी - {{^{{FOOTNOTE 3 }}}} [भाग II—खण्ड 3(ii)] भारत का राजपत्र : असाधारण
(i) ताजमहल के संरक्षण के लिए विभिन्न योजनाओं के कार्यान्वयन की प्रगति की निगरानी करना और ताज ट्रापेजियम जोन में पर्यावरण के संरक्षण और सुधार के लिए कार्यक्रम;
(ii) उक्त अधिनियम की धारा 5 के अधीन शक्तियों का प्रयोग करना;
(iii) मोटर यानों द्वारा विर्निर्दष्ट उत्सर्जन मानकों का अनुपालन सुनिश्चित करने तथा ईंधन गुणवत्ता मानकों का अनुपालन सुनिश्चित करने के लिए सभी आवश्यक कदम उठाना;
(iv) ताज ट्रापेजियम जोन से संबंधित किसी पर्यावरणीय मुद्दे पर विचार करना, जो के न्द्रीय सरकार या उत्तर प्रदेश और राजस्थान राज्य सरकार द्वारा उसे र्निर्दष्ट किया जा सके ।
4. प्राधिकरण की शक्तियां और कृ त्य के न्द्रीय सरकार के समग्र पर्यवेक्षण और नियंत्रण के अधीन होंगे।
5. प्राधिकरण को अधिनियम की धारा 19 के अधीन शिकायत करने की शक्ति होगी ।
6. प्राधिकरण उसे समनुदेशित किए गए कार्य को सुविधाजनक बनाने के लिए विशेषज्ञों को सहयोजित कर सके गा । 7. प्राधिकरण अपनी गतिविधियों के बारे में कम से कम दो महीने में एक बार कें द्रीय सरकार के पर्यावरण, वन और जलवायु परिवर्तन मंत्रालय को रिपोर्ट प्रस्तुत करेगा।
8. इस अधिसूचना के प्रयोजन के लिए प्राधिकरण का मुख्यालय उत्तर प्रदेश राज्य के आगरा में होगा।

New Delhi, the 20th January, 2025
S.O. 441(E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-sections (1) and (3) of section 3 of the Environment (Protection) Act, 1986 (29 of 1986), the Central Government hereby constitutes the Taj Trapezium Zone Pollution (Prevention and Control) Authority (hereinafter referred to as the Authority), consisting of the following persons, namely:-

2. The geographical limits of the Taj Trapezium Zone is defined in the shape of a trapezoid between 26 ° 45'N & 77° 15'E to 27° 45'N & 77° 15' E in the West of the Taj Mahal and in the East of Taj Mahal between 27° 00'N & 78° 30' E to 27° 30'N & 78° 30'E, lying in the Agra Division of the State of Uttar Pradesh and in the Bharatpur Division of the State of Rajasthan.
3. The Authority shall, within the territorial limits of Agra Division and Bharatpur Division in the Taj Trapezium Zone in the States of Uttar Pradesh and Rajasthan respectively, have the power to -
(i) monitor the progress of implementation of various schemes for protection of the Taj Mahal and programmes for protection and improvement of the environment in Taj Trapezium Zone;
(ii) exercise powers under section 5 of the said Act;
(iii) take all necessary steps to ensure compliance of specified emission standards by motor vehicles and ensuring compliance of fuel quality standards;
(iv) deal with any environmental issue which may be referred to it by the Central Government or the State Government of Uttar Pradesh and Rajasthan relating to the Taj Trapezium Zone.
4. The powers and functions of the Authority shall be subject to the overall supervision and control of the Central Government.
5. The Authority shall have power to make a complaint under section 19 of the Act.
6. The Authority may co-opt experts for facilitating the work assigned to it.
7. The Authority shall furnish a report about its activities at least once in two months to the Central Government in the Ministry of Environment, Forests and Climate Change
8. The Authority shall have its headquarters at Agra in the State of Uttar Pradesh for the purpose of this notification.
