का.आ. 5972(अ).— रेलवे अधिनियम, 1989, [रेलवे (संशोधित) अधिनियम, 2008 के अनुसार संशोधित] की द्वारा 2 के खण्ड (7 ए) द्वारा प्रदत्त शक्तियों का प्रयोग करते हुए, कें द्रीय सरकार एतद् रूप से नीचे तालिका के कॉलम (2) में र्वर्णत अधिकारी को प्राधिकृ त करती है कि वह तालिका के कॉलम-(4) में र्वर्णत रेलवे परियोजना के संबंध में सक्षम प्राधिकारी के रूप में कार्य-निष्पादित करें तथा उपयु र्क्त तलिका के ही कॉलम-(3) में र्वर्णत राज्य में कार्य-निष्पादन अनुपालन, प्रबंधन एवं परिचालन के लिए भी वह कार्य करें तथा यह राजकीय राजपत्र में अधिसूचना के प्रकाशन की तिथि से प्रभावी माना जाएगा । 2 THE GAZETTE OF INDIA : EXTRAORDINARY [PART II—SEC. 3(ii)] तालिका

NOTIFICATION
Kolkata, the 16th December, 2025
S.O. 5972(E).— In exercise of the powers conferred by clause (7A) of Section 2 of the Railways Act,1989, (as amended vide the Railways (Amendment) Act,2008) the Central Government hereby authorizes the officer mentioned in column (2) of the Table below to perform the functions of the Competent Authority in respect of the Railway Project as mentioned in column (4) of the Table, for execution, maintenance, management and operation in the state mentioned in column (3) of the said Table, with effect from the date of publication of this notification in the Official Gazette.
