फा. सं. NHAI/PIU-BNG(EXP)/NE-07/BNG-CHE/Toll/2025–– यत:, बैंगलोर–चेन्नई एक्सप्रेसवे (NE- 07) को चार लेन, पूर्णतः नियंत्रित प्रवेश वाले एक्सप्रेसवे के रूप में विकसित किया जा रहा है, जिसकी शुरुआत एनएच-75 के जंक्शन से कि.मी. 0+000 (होसकोटे के निकट) से होती है और यह मार्ग कर्नाटक राज्य में मालूर, बंगारपेट एवं बेथमंगला होते हुए, आंध्र प्रदेश राज्य में बैरेड्डीपल्ली, पालमनेर और चित्तूर से गुजरता है तथा तमिलनाडु राज्य में गुडीपाला, पोननई, शोलिंगहुर, वलजापेट्टई, अरक्कोनम, कांचीपुरम, तिरुवल्लुर होते हुए पुराने एनएच-04 (श्रीपेरंबदुर के निकट) पर समाप्त होता है;
और यत:, इस एक्सप्रेसवे नियंत्रित एक्सप्रेसवे के विकास से पूर्व उक्त स्थानों को जोड़ने/ विभिन्न गंतव्य बिन्दुओ तक पहुंचने हेतु जनता के लिए वैकल्पिक मार्ग और सड़कें उपलब्ध थी और हैं;
और यत:, इस एक्सप्रेसवे को उच्च गति गलियारे के रूप में विकसित किया गया है तथा विभिन्न प्रकार के मोटर वाहनों के लिए अधिकतम गति सीमा 80 कि.मी./घंटा से 120 कि.मी./घंटा तक अधिसूचित की गई है, जैसा कि अधिसूचना संख्या S.O. 1522 (E) दिनांक 6 अप्रैल, 2018 में प्रकाशित है;
और यत:, उच्च गति वाले वाहनों की आवाजाही तुलनात्मक रूप से धीमी गति से चलने वाले कु छ श्रेणी के वाहनों यथा दोपहिया, तीन पहिया व अन्य धीमी गति से चलने वाले वाहन जैसे गैर-मोटर चालित वाहनों, कृ षि ट्रैक्टर (ट्रेलर सहित अथवा उसके बिना) के गति अंतर तथा चपेट मे आने की संभावना के कारण उनकी सुरक्षा के लिए खतरा पैदा कर सकती है,अतः यह सड़क सुरक्षा पहलुओं से समझौता है;
2 THE GAZETTE OF INDIA : EXTRAORDINARY [PART III—SEC.4] इसलिए अब, "राष्ट्रीय राजमार्ग नियंत्रण (भूमि और यातायात) अधिनियम, 2002" की धारा 35 के तहत प्रदत शक्तियों का प्रयोग करते हुए, यह आदेश दिया जाता है कि निम्नलिखित श्रेणियों के वाहनों को बैंगलोर–चेन्नई एक्सप्रेसवे (NE-07) का उपयोग करने से प्रतिबंधित किया जाता है:i. मोटरसाइकिल (स्कू टर एवं अन्य दोपहिया सहित);
ii. तिपहिया वाहन (ई-कार्ट एवं ई-रिक्शा सहित);
iii. गैर-मोटर चालित वाहन;
iv. ट्रैक्टर (ट्रेलर सहित अथवा बिना ट्रेलर);
v. बहु-अक्ष हाइड्रोलिक ट्रेलर वाहन;
vi.क्वाड्रिसाइकल।

NOTIFICATION
New Delhi, the 9th September, 2025
F No. NHAI/PIU-BNG(EXP)/NE-07/BNG-CHE/Toll/2025–– Whereas, the Bangalore Chennai Expressway (NE-07) is being developed as on Four-Lane fully access controlled expressway, starting from its junction with NH-75 at Km. 0+000 near Hoskote connecting Malur, Bangarpet & Bethamangala in the state of Karnataka, Baireddipalle, Palamaner and Chittoor in the state of Andhra Pradesh, Gudipala, Ponnai, Sholinghur, Walajapettai, Arakkonam, Kancheepuram, Thiruvallur and terminating at its junction with old NH No.04 near Sriperumbudur in the state of Tamil nadu;
And whereas there have been and are alternative routes and roads available to the public for linking the above places/accessing various destination points before the development of this Expressway;
And whereas this Expressway has been developed as a high-speed corridor and the maximum speed limits for Motor Vehicles of various descriptions for the Expressway have been notified varying between 80 km/hour to 120 km/hour vide Notification bearing No. S.O. 1522 (E) dated 6th April, 2018;
And whereas the movement of high-speed vehicles may pose risk to the safety of certain classes of comparatively slow-moving vehicles e.g. two wheelers, three wheelers and other slow-moving vehicles like non- motorized vehicles, agricultural tractors (with or without trailers) due to their vulnerability and associated speed differentials and compromise the road safety aspects.
NOW, THEREFORE, in exercise of powers conferred under Section 35 of "The Control of National Highways (Land and Traffic) Act, 2002", it is hereby ordered that the following classes of vehicles are prohibited from using the Bangalore Chennai Expressway (NE-07):
i. Motorcycles (including scooters and other wheelers);
ii. Three wheelers (including e-Carts and e-Rickshaws);
iii. Non-motorized vehicles;
iv. Tractors Special with or without trailers
v. Multi Axle Hydraulic Trailer Vehicles
vi. Quadri-cycles;
