का.आ. 256(अ).—राष्ट्रपति, संविधान के अनुच्छेद 239 के खंड (1) के अनुसरण में, यह निदेश देती हैं कि, लक्षद्वीप, चंडीगढ़, दादरा और नागर हवेली और दमण और दीव, पुडुचेरी एवं जम्मू और कश्मीर संघ राज्यक्षेत्रों के प्रशासक (चाहे वह उप-राज्यपाल या प्रशासक के नाम से ज्ञात हों), राष्ट्रपति के नियंत्रण के अध्यधीन और अगले आदेश होने तक, अपने-अपने संबंधित संघ राज्यक्षेत्रों के भीतर, ओषधि और चमत्कारिक उपचार (आक्षेपणीय विज्ञापन) अधिनियम, 1954 (1954 का 21) के अधीन राज्य सरकार की शक्ति का प्रयोग और कृ त्यों का निर्वहन करेंगे।

New Delhi, the 16th January, 2026
S.O. 256(E).— In pursuance of clause (1) of article 239 of the Constitution, the President hereby directs that the Administrator (whether known as the Lieutenant Governor or the Administrator) of the Union territories of Lakshadweep, Chandigarh and Dadra and Nagar Haveli and Daman and Diu, Puducherry and Jammu and Kashmir shall, subject to the control of the President and until further orders, exercise the power and discharge the functions of the State Government under the Drugs and Magic Remedies (Objectionable Advertisements) Act, 1954 (21 of 1954) within their respective Union territories.
