फा. सं. बीएस/11/05/2018. — ब्यूरो, कें द्रीय सरकार के पूर्वानुमोदन से, भारतीय मानक ब्यूरो अधिनियम, 2016 (2016 का 11) की धारा 13 और धारा 14 के साथ पठित धारा 39 में प्रदत्त शक्तियों का प्रयोग करते हुए, भारतीय मानक ब्यूरो (हॉलर्माकंि ग) विनियम, 2018 का और संशोधन करने के लिए निम्नलिखित विनियम बनाता है, अर्थात्: - 1. संक्षिप्त नाम और प्रारंभ — (1) इन विनियमों का संक्षिप्त नाम भारतीय मानक ब्यूरो (हॉलर्माकंि ग) संशोधन विनियम, 2026 है।
(2) ये राजपत्र में उनके प्रकाशन की तारीख को प्रवृत्त होंगे।
2. भारतीय मानक ब्यूरो (हॉलर्माकंि ग) विनियम, 2018 में अनुसूची 4 के स्थान पर निम्नलिखित अनुसूची को रखा जाएगा, अर्थात्:-

हॉलर्माकंि ग शुल्क
1. (क) आभूषण विक्रे ता द्वारा मान्यता प्राप्त असेयिंग एवं हॉलर्माकंि ग कें द्र को सोने की वस्तुओं के लिए दिया जाने वाला हॉलर्माकंि ग शुल्क:
(i) प्रति वस्तु 75/- रूपए; और
(ii) एक पारेषण के लिए न्यूनतम शुल्क 200/- रूपए
(ख) सोने की वस्तुओं के लिए एसेयिंग एवं हॉलर्माकंि ग कें द्र से ब्यूरो द्वारा वसूल किया जाने वाला हॉलर्माकंि ग शुल्क:
(i) प्रति वस्तु 7.50/- रूपए; और
(ii) एक पारेषण के लिए न्यूनतम शुल्क 20/- रूपए
2. (क) आभूषण विक्रे ता द्वारा मान्यता प्राप्त असेयिंग और हॉलर्माकंि ग कें द्र को चांदी की वस्तुओं के लिए दिया जाने वाला हॉलर्माकंि ग शुल्क:
(i) प्रति वस्तु 35/- रूपए; और
(ii) एक पारेषण के लिए न्यूनतम शुल्क 150/- रूपए
(ख) चाँदी की वस्तुओं के लिए एसेयिंग एवं हॉलर्माकंि ग कें द्र से ब्यूरो द्वारा वसूल किया जाने वाला हॉलर्माकंि ग शुल्क:
(i) प्रति वस्तु 3.50/- रूपए; और
(ii) एक पारेषण के लिए न्यूनतम शुल्क 15/- रूपए
टिप्पण : उपरोक्त के अतिरिक्त प्रचलित दरों के अनुसार लागू कर लगाए जाएंगे।"।

NOTIFICATION
New Delhi, the 14th September, 2026
F. No. BS/11/05/2018. - In exercise of the powers conferred by section 39 read with sections 13 and 14 of the Bureau of Indian Standards Act, 2016 (11 of 2016), the Bureau with the previous approval of the Central Government, hereby makes the following regulations further to amend the Bureau of Indian Standards (Hallmarking) Regulations, 2018, namely: - 3 [भाग III—खण्ड 4] भारत का राजपत्र : असाधारण
1. Short title and commencement. – (1) These regulations may be called the Bureau of Indian Standards (Hallmarking) Amendment Regulations, 2026.
(2) They shall come into force on the date of their publication in the Official Gazette.
2. In the Bureau of Indian Standards (Hallmarking) Regulations, 2018, for Schedule IV, the following Schedule shall be substituted, namely:-
"Schedule IV
(Refer sub-regulation (10) of regulation 10)
Hallmarking Fee
1. (a) The Hallmarking fee for gold articles payable to recognised Assaying and Hallmarking Centres by jewellers shall be:
(i) Rs. 75/- per article; and
(ii) minimum fee for a consignment as Rs. 200/-.
(b) The Hallmarking fee to be levied by the Bureau from Assaying and Hallmarking Centre for gold articles shall be:
(i) Rs. 7.5/- per article; and
(ii) minimum fee for a consignment as Rs. 20/-.
2. (a) The Hallmarking fee for silver articles payable to recognised Assaying and Hallmarking Centres by jewellers shall be :
(i) Rs. 35/- per article; and
(ii) minimum fee for a consignment as Rs. 150/-.
(b) The Hallmarking fee to be levied by the Bureau from Assaying and Hallmarking Centre for silver articles shall be:
(i) Rs. 3.5/- per article; and
(ii) minimum fee for a consignment Rs. 15/-.
Note: Applicable taxes as per prevalent rates shall be levied in addition to the above.".
