का.आ. 5142(अ).— कें द्र सरकार, भारतीय प्रतिभूति और विनिमय बोर्ड (अध्यक्ष और सदस्यों की सेवा के नियम और शतें) नियम, 1992 के नियम 3 के साथ पठित, भारतीय प्रतिभूति और विनिमय बोर्ड अधिनियम, 1992 (1992 का 15) की धारा 4 की उप-धारा (1) (घ) और उप-धारा (4) द्वारा प्रदत्त शक्तियों का प्रयोग करते हुए, एतद्द्वारा श्री कमलेश चंद्र वाष्णेय, आईआरएस (आईटी:1990) (सेवानिवृत्त) को दिनांक 19.09.2026 से, जब तक कि वह पैंसठ वर्ष की आयु प्राप्त नहीं कर लेते, अर्थात दिनांक 04.08.2029 तक, या अगले आदेश, जो भी पहले हो, तक, भारतीय प्रतिभूति और विनिमय बोर्ड (सेबी) के पूर्णकालिक सदस्य के पद पर पुनः नियुक्त करती है।

New Delhi, the 18th September, 2026

S.O. 5142(E).— In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) (d) and sub-section (4) of section 4 of the Securities and Exchange Board of India Act, 1992 (15 of 1992), read with rule 3 of the Securities and Exchange Board of India (Terms and Conditions of Service of Chairman and Members) Rules, 1992, the Central Government hereby re-appoints Shri Kamlesh Chandra Varshney, IRS (IT:1990) (Retd.), to the post of Whole-Time Member, Securities & Exchange Board of India (SEBI), beyond 19.09.2026, till he attains the age of sixty-five years i.e., 04.08.2029, or until further orders, whichever is earlier.
