सा.का.नि. 825(अ).— के न्द्रीय सरकार, सिक्का निमााण अधिनियम, 2011 (2011 का 11) की धारा 24 की उपधारा (2) के खंड (घ) और खंड (ड.) द्वारा प्रदत्त शक्तयिों का प्रयोग करते हुए, निम्नलिक्तखत नियम बनाती है, अथाात्:-
1. संप्तिि नाम और प्रारम्भ.— (1) इन नियमों का संप्तिि नाम सिक्का निमााण (मोढेरा सूया मंदिर, गुजरात के 1000 वषा के अवसर पर स्मारक सिक्का जारी करना) नियम, 2026 है।
(2) ये राजपत्र में इनके प्रकाशन की तारीख को प्रवृत्त होंगे।
2. सिक्के का मूल्यवग.ि— मोढेरा सूया मंदिर, गुजरात के 1000 वषा पूरे होने के अवसर को स्मरणीय बनाने के लिए कें द्रीय सरकार के प्राधिकार के अधीन एक सौ रुपये मूल्य वगा का सिक्का जारी करने के लिए इसे टकसाल में ढाला जाएगा।

(1)2 THE GAZETTE OF INDIA : EXTRAORDINARY [PART II—SEC. 3(i)] 3. सिक्के की विमाएं और संरचना.— नियम 2 में विनिदिाष्ट मूल्य वगा का सिक्का, निम्नलिक्तखत विमाओं और संरचना के अनुरूप होगा, अथाात्:-

4. डिज़ाइन.— सिक्के का डिज़ाइन वह होगा जो इन नियमों के साथ उपाबद्ध पहली अनुसूची में विनिदिाष्ट है।
5. मानक वजन और अनुज्ञात उपचार.— मोढेरा सूया मंदिर, गुजरात के 1000 वषा पूरे होने के अवसर को स्मरणीय बनाने के लिए नियम 2 में निदिाष्ट मूल्य वगा के सिक्के का मानक वजन और ऐसे सिक्के को बनाने में अनुज्ञात उपचार वह होगा जो इन नियमों के साथ उपाबद्ध दू सरी अनुसूची में विनिदिाष्ट है।

अग्र भाग:
सिक्के के इस भाग पर मध्य में अशोक स्तम्भ का सिंह स्तम्भ शीषा होगा, जिसके नीचे "सत्यमेव जयते" लेख उत्कीणिात होगा, उसकी बाईं पररधि पर देवनागरी लिपि में "भारत" शब्द और दाईं पररधि पर अंग्रेजी में "INDIA" शब्द होगा। सिंह स्तम्भ शीषा के नीचे रुपये का प्रतीक "₹" और अंतरााष्टर ीय अंकों में अंकित मूल्य "100" भी होगा।

सिक्के के इस भाग में सिक्के के मध्य में मोढेरा सूया मंदिर, गुजरात का चित्र होगा । सिक्के की ऊपरी पररधि पर देवनागरी लिपि में उत्कीणा लेख "मोढेरा सूय िमंदिर, गुजरात के 1000 वष"ि लिखा होगा, और मोढेरा सूया मंदिर के चित्र के ऊपर अंतरराष्टर ीय अंकों में "1026-2026" उत्कीणा होगा। सिक्के की निचली पररधि पर अंग्रेजी में उत्कीणा लेख "1000 YEARS OF MODHERA SUN TEMPLE, GUJARAT" लिखा होगा।

NOTIFICATION
New Delhi, the 18th September, 2026
G.S.R. 825(E).— In exercise of the powers conferred by clauses (d) and (e) of sub-section (2) of section 24 of the Coinage Act, 2011(11 of 2011), the Central Government hereby makes the following rules, namely: - 1. Short title and commencement.— (1) These rules may be called the Coinage (Issue of commemorative coin on the occasion of 1000 Years of Modhera Sun Temple, Gujarat) Rules, 2026.
(2) They shall come into force on the date of their publication in the Official Gazette.
2. Denomination of coin.— The coin of One Hundred Rupees denomination shall be coined at the Mint for issue under the authority of the Central Government to commemorate the occasion of completion of 1000 Years of Modhera Sun Temple, Gujarat.

4. Design.— The design of the coin shall be as specified in the First Schedule annexed to these rules.
5. Standard weight and remedy allowed.— The standard weight of the coin of denomination referred to in rule 2 to commemorate the occasion of completion of 1000 Years of Modhera Sun Temple, Gujarat and the remedy allowed in making of such coin shall be as specified in the Second Schedule annexed to these rules.

OBVERSE:
This face of the coin shall bear the Lion Capitol of the Ashoka Pillar at the centre with the legend "सत्यमेव जयते "inscribed below, flanked on the left periphery with the word "भारत "in Devanagari script and on the right periphery with the word "INDIA" in English. It shall also bear the Rupee symbol "₹" and denominational value "100" in the international numerals below the Lion Capitol.
REVERSE:
This face of the coin shall bear the motif of Modhera Sun Temple, Gujarat at the centre of the coin. The inscription "मोढेरा सूर्य मंदिर, गुजरात के 1000 वर्ष" in Devanagari script shall be inscribed on the upper periphery of the coin, with the year "1026-2026" in international numerals inscribed above the motif of Modhera Sun Temple. The inscription "1000 YEARS OF MODHERA SUN TEMPLE, GUJARAT" in English shall be inscribed on the lower periphery of the coin
