का.आ. 5457(अ).— केन्द्रीय सरकार ने रेल अधिनियम, 1989 (1989 का 24) (जिसे इसमें इसके
पष्चात् उक्त अधिनियम कहा गया है) की धारा 20क की उपधारा (1) के अधीन जारी भारत के राजपत्र,
असाधारण, भाग II खंड 3, उप खंड (II) तारीख 13 जनवरी 2025 में प्रकाषित, भारत सरकार के रेल
मंत्रालय (रेलवे बोर्ड) की अधिसूचना संख्यांक का.आ. 1534 (अ) तारीख 29 मार्च, 2025 (जिसे इसमें इसके
पष्चात् उक्त अधिनियम कहा गया है) द्वारा उक्त अधिसूचना से उपाबद्ध अनुसूची में विनिर्दिष्ट भूमि को,
बिहार राज्य में जिला गया विशेष रेल परियोजना, अर्थात, ईस्टर्न डेडीकेटेड फ्रेट कोरीडोर के हिस्से के
रूप में सोन नगर-अंडाल (374.53 मार्ग किमी.) के निष्पादन, रख रखाव, प्रबन्ध और प्रचालन के प्रयोजन
के लिए अर्जित करने के अपने आषय की घोषणा की थी।
और, उक्त अधिसूचना का सार, उक्त अधिनियम की धारा 20 क की उपधारा (4) के अधीन दैनिक
समाचार पत्रों, अर्थात, दैनिक जागरण में तारीख 21 अगस्त 2025 में प्रकाषित किया गया था,

(1) 2 THE GAZETTE OF INDIA : EXTRAORDINARY [PART II—SEC. 3(ii)] और, कोई आक्षेप प्राप्त नहीं हुए थे और सक्षम प्राधिकारी द्वारा उन पर विचार किया गया, तदनुसार आदेष पारित कर दिये गये,
और, उक्त अधिनियम की धारा 20ड़ की उप धारा (1) के अनुसरण में सक्षम प्राधिकारी ने अपनी रिपोर्ट
केन्द्रीय सरकार को प्रस्तुत कर दी है।
अतः अब, केन्द्रीय सरकार, सक्षम प्राधिकारी से उक्त रिपोर्ट के प्राप्त होने पर और उक्त अधिनियम
की धारा 20ड़ की उप-धारा (1) द्वारा प्रदत्त शक्तियों को प्रयोग करते हुए, यह घोषणा करती है कि
इससे उपाबद्ध अनुसूची में विनिर्दिष्ट भूमि पूर्वोक्त प्रयोेजन के लिए अर्जित की जाएगी,
और यह कि केन्द्रीय सरकार, उक्त अधिनियम की धारा 20ड़ की उप-धारा (2) के अनुसरण में यह
घोषणा करती है कि राजपत्र में इस अधिसूचना के प्रकाषित होने पर इससे उपाबद्ध अनुसूची में विनिर्दिष्ट भूमि
सभी विल्लंगमों से मुक्त होकर केन्द्रीय सरकार में आत्यंतिक रूप से निहित हो जाएगी।
बिहार राज्य के गया जिले में विषेष रेल परियोजना, अर्थात ईस्टर्न डेडिके टेड फ्रे ट कोरीडोर के हिस्से के रूप में सोन
नगर-अंडाल (374.53 मार्ग किमी) रेल लाईन के लिए संरचना सहित या उसके रहित अर्जित की जाने वाले भूमि का संक्षिप्त

MINISTRY OF RAILWAYS
(East Central Railway)
NOTIFICATION
Patna, the 22nd September, 2026 S.O. 5457(E).— Whereas, by the notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Railways (Railway Board), number S.O. 1534 (E), dated the 13th January, 2025, published in the Gazette of India, Extraordinary, Part II, Section 3, Sub- section (ii), dated the 29t" March, 2025 (hereinafter referred to as the said notification) and issued under Sub-section (1) of section 20A of the Railways Act, 1989 (24 of 1989) (hereinafter referred to as the said Act), the Central Government declared its intention to acquire the land specified in the Schedule annexed to the said notification for the purpose of execution, maintenance, management and operation of the Special Railway Project, namely, Special Railway Projects, Multi tracking of Son nagar -Andal (374.53 RKm) as part of Eastern Dedicated Freight Corridor;
And, whereas, the substance of the said notification was published in the daily newspapers, namely, Dainik Bhashkar, Dainik Jagran dated the 21st August 2026 under sub-section (4) of section 20A of the said Act;
And, whereas, no objection were received and the same has been considered by the Competent Authority accordingly orders have been passed;
And, whereas, in pursuance of sub-section (1) of section 20E of the said Act, the competent authority has submitted its report to the Central Government;
Now, therefore, upon receipt of the report of the competent authority and in exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 20E of the said Act, the Central Government hereby declares that the land specified in the Schedule annexed hereto shall be acquired for the aforesaid purpose.
And further, in pursuance of sub-section (2) of section 20E of the said Act, the Central Government hereby declares that on publication of this notification in the Official Gazette the land specified in the Schedule annexed hereto shall vest absolutely in the Central Government free from all encumbrances.
