आदेश
नई दिल्ली, 6 अक्तूबर, 2026
का.आ. 5461(अ).—के न्रीय सरकार, चीनी नियंत्रण आदेश, 2025 के खंड 7 और खंड 16 के साथ पठित आवश्यक वस्तु अधिनियम, 1955 (1955 का 10) की धारा 3 द्वारा प्रदत्त शक्तियों का प्रयोग करते हुए, उपभोक्ता मामले, खाद्य और सार्वजनिक वितरण मंत्रालय, खाद्य और सार्वजनिक वितरण विभाग की अधिसूचना संख्या का.आ. 4165(अ), तारीख 28 जुलाई, 2026 जो भारत के राजपत्र, असाधारण, भाग II, खंड 3, उपखंड (ii), तारीख 28 जुलाई, 2026 में प्रकाशित हुई थी, का निम्नलिखित और संशोधन करती है, अर्थात्:-
उक्त अधिसूचना के पैरा 1 में,-
"चीनी का कोई भी डीलर ऐसे स्टॉक की प्राप्ति की तारीख से तीस दिन से अनधिक अवधि के लिए किसी स्टॉक का भंडारण नहीं करेगा और देशभर में किसी भी समय पर और किसी भी स्थान में कोलकत्ता और उसके विस्तारित 2 THE GAZETTE OF INDIA : EXTRAORDINARY [PART II—SEC. 3(ii)] नहीं रखेगा।" शब्दों और अंकों के स्थान पर "चीनी का कोई भी डीलर ऐसे स्टॉक की प्राप्ति की तारीख से पंरह दिन से अनधिक अवधि के लिए किसी स्टॉक का भंडारण नहीं करेगा और देशभर में किसी भी समय पर और किसी भी स्थान में कोलकत्ता और उसके विस्तारित महानगरी क्षेत्रों और असम राज्य के सिवाय, जहां स्टॉक 2000 क्विंटल से अधिक नहीं होगा, 1000 क्वं टल से अधिक चीनी का स्टॉक नहीं रखेगा।" शब्द और अंक रखे जाएंगे ।
2. यह आदेश 15 अक्टूबर, 2026 को प्रवृत्त होगा ।

ORDER
New Delhi, the 6th October, 2026
S.O. 5461(E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by section 3 of the Essential Commodities Act, 1955 (10 of 1955) read with clauses 7 and 16 of the Sugar (Control) Order, 2025, the Central Government hereby makes the following further amendments in the notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Consumer Affairs, Food and Public Distribution, Department of Food and Public Distribution, number S.O. 4165(E), dated the 28th July, 2026, published in the Gazette of India, Extraordinary, Part II, Section 3, Sub-section (ii), dated the 28th July, 2026, namely:—
In the said notification, in paragraph 1,—
for the words and figures "no dealer of sugar shall hold any stock for a period exceeding thirty days from the date of
receipt of such stock and shall not keep sugar in stock at any time and in any place throughout the country in excess of
2000 quintals, except in case of Kolkata and its extended metropolitan areas, where the stock shall not exceed 4000
quintals ", the words and figures " no dealer of sugar shall hold any stock for a period exceeding fifteen days from the
date of receipt of such stock and shall not keep sugar in stock at any time and in any place throughout the country in
excess of 1000 quintals, except in case of Kolkata and its extended metropolitan areas and the State of Assam, where
the stock shall not exceed 2000 quintals" shall be substituted.
2. This order shall come into force on the 15th day of October, 2026.
