का.आ. 5462(अ).—कें द्रीय सरकार, पर्यावरण (संरक्षण) अधिनियम, 1986 (1986 का 29) की धारा 3 की उपधारा (3) द्वारा प्रदत्त शक्तियों का प्रयोग करते हुए, और भारत के राजपत्र, असाधारण, भाग II, खंड 3, उपखंड (ii) में संख्यांक का.आ. 1533(अ) तारीख 14 सितंबर, 2006 द्वारा प्रकाशित भारत सरकार के तत्कालीन पर्यावरण और वन मंत्रालय की अधिसूचना के अनुसरण में, गुजरात सरकार के परामर्श से, भारत सरकार के पर्यावरण, वन एवं जलवायु परिवर्तन मंत्रालय की अधिसूचना संख्यांक का.आ. 2002(अ) तारीख 2 मई, 2025 को और संशोधित करने के लिए, निम्नलिखित संशोधन करती है, अर्थात् :-
2. उक्त अधिसूचना में,-
(क) पैरा 1 में, क्रम. सं. 1 और उससे संबंधित प्रविष्टियों के स्थान पर निम्नलिखित क्रम सं. और प्रविष्टियां रखी जाएंगी, अर्थात्:-
2 THE GAZETTE OF INDIA : EXTRAORDINARY [PART II—SEC. 3(ii)] ए-304, कासा रियो फ्लैट, सिटी पल्स रोड, रांदेसन, गांधीनगर अध्यक्ष;"(ख) पैरा 3क के स्थान पर निम्नलिखित पैरा रखा जाएगा, अर्थात्:-
"3क. अध्यक्ष के रूप में श्री बी. जे. पटेल का कार्यकाल प्राधिकरण के अन्य सदस्यों के कार्यकाल के साथ समाप्त होगा।"।

चौधरी उदय गौरीशंकर, संयुक्त सचिव टिप्पण : मूल अधिसूचना भारत के राजपत्र, असाधारण, भाग II, खंड 3, उपखंड (ii) में अधिसूचना संख्या का.आ. 2002(अ), तारीख 2 मई, 2025 द्वारा प्रकाशित की गई थी और अंतिम बार अधिसूचना संख्या का.आ.5302(अ), तारीख 20 नवम्बर 2025 के द्वारा संशोधित की गई थी।

NOTIFICATION
New Delhi, the 6th October, 2026
S.O. 5462(E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (3) of section 3 of the Environment (Protection) Act, 1986 (29 of 1986), and in pursuance of the notification of the Government of India in the erstwhile Ministry of Environment Forests, published in the Gazette of India, Extraordinary, Part II, Section 3, Sub-section (ii), vide number S.O. 1533 (E) dated the 14th September, 2006, the Central Government in consultation with the Government of Gujarat, hereby makes the following amendments, further to amend the notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change, vide number S.O. 2002(E), dated the 2 May 2025, namely:-
2. In the said notification, -
(a) in paragraph 1, for serial number 1 and the entries relating thereto, the following serial number and entries shall be substituted, namely: -
"1. Shri B.J. Patel, IAS (Retired)
A-304, Casa Rio Flat, City Pulse Road, Randesan, Gandhinagar Chairman;"
(b) for paragraph 3A, the following paragraph shall be substituted, namely: -
"3A. The tenure of Shri B.J. Patel as Chairman shall be co-terminus with the tenure of the other Members of the Authority.".
