S C H E D U LE - II

1. The employer in relation to each of the said establishment

(Hereinafter referred to as the employer) shall submit such

returns to thfe Regional Prvident Fund Comissioner coricornad and

maintain such account and provide such f a c i l i t i es for inspection,

as the Central Prdvident j?und Commissioner may direct from time

to time.

2k The employer s h a ll pay such i n s p e c t i on charges as t he c e n t r al o o v t ,, may from time of t i m e, d i r e ct under c l a u se (a) Sul>-Seotion (2A) of Section 17 of the said Act, within 15 days from the close of every month.

All expenses involved in th" administration of the Group

Insurance Scheme, including maintenance of account, submission of

returns, payment of insurance premia, transfer acaounts, payment

of inspection charges otq. sh^n be borne bynthe employer.

4. The employer shall display on th* Notice Board of the

establishment, copy of the rules of the; Group Insurance Scheme as

approved by the Central

Commissioner as and when amended alongwith translation of salient

feature thereof In the language of the majority of the employees.

5. Whereas an employee, who is alroady a memter of the

Employees Provident Fund or tho Provident Fund of an ^atahllshment

exempted under the said Act, is employed in his establishment the

employer shall immediately admit him as a member of the Group

Insurance Scheme and pay necessary premium in respect of him

to Life Insurance Corporation of India,

6. The employer s M ll arrange to enhance the benefits

available to the employees sunder the Group Insurance Scheme

opproprately If the benefits available to the -employees ugdex

said Scheme are enhanced so that the benefits available under

Group Insurance Scheme are more favourable to the employees

than tho benefits admissible under the said Scheme.

7. toot ."withstanding anything contained in the-Group Insurance Scheme, if on the death of an employees the Amounts payable undar the Scheme be l e ss than the amount th^t would bb payable}" had the employees been coverod und^r the said Scheme, the employer shall pay the difference- to the nominee (s) legal helr(e) of the employees as compensation.

8. No amendment of the provisions of the Group Insurance Scheme shall be made without the prior approval of t^e Regional Provident Fund' Cpmmissioncr concerned and where *ny amendment is l i k e ly to effect adversely the i n t e r e st of the employees his approval t give a reasonable; opportunity to the employees to explain point of view.

9. Therefore any reason the employee of the said establishment do not remain covered under the Group Inanurance Scheme of the Life insurance Corporation of India aa a rtfady adopted by the said establishment, for the benefits to the employees under this scheme] a rt r e r e ad in any manner, the exemption shall be liable to bo cancelled.

10. Where for any reason, the employer f a i ls to pay the premium e t c ., within the due date, as fixed by the Life Insurance Corporation of India, and the policy ia allowed to lapae, the exemption ohail be l i a b le to be cancelled.

11. In caoe of default, if any made by the employer in payment of premium the responsibility for payment of assurance benefits to t>i© nominee (s) Legal heir (s) of dtcesaed member who would have been covered und^r the said Scheme but for grant of t h is exemption a h an be that of the employer.

Insurance Scheme, this Life Insurance Corporation of India

shall ensure prompt payment of the sum assured to the nominee (s)

any case within one month from the receipt of claim complete

1, The employer in relation to each of the said establishment

(hereinafter referred to as the employer) shall submit such

returns to the Regional Prvldent Fund Comissioner concur nod and

maintain such account and provide such f a c i l i t i es for inspection,

as the Central Provident j?und Commissioner may direct from time

to time.

2t The employer shall pay such inspection charges as the

central Govt,, may from time of time, direct under clause (a)

Sub-Section (2A) of Section 17 of the said Act, within 15 days

from the close of every month.

Insurance Scheme, including maintenance o£ account, submission of

returns, payment of insurance premia, transfer accounts, payment

7. Wot'withstanding anything contained in the Group Insurance Scheme, if on the death of an employees tht? Amounts ^B-yable under the Scheme be l e ss than the amount th^t would be payable had the employees been covered under Vbc said Scheme, the employer shall pay the difference to the nominee (B) legal helr(s) of the employees as compensation.

8. No amendment of the provisions of the Group Insurance Scheme shall bo mad© without the prior approval of t^e Regional Provident FuntA Commissioner concerned and where a'Ay amendment is l i k e ly to effect adversely the i n t e r e st of the employees his approval/ give a reasonably opportunity to the employt.ee to explain point 6£ view.

9. Therefore any reason the employee of the eaid establishment do not remain covered under the Group Inonurance Scheme of the Life Insurance Corporation of India as a ready adopted by the said establishment, for thy benefits to the employees under this scheme are reduced in any manne-r, the oxemption shall be liable to ba cancelled.

10. Where for any reason, tht employer fails to pay the premium e t c, within the due date, aa fixed by the Life insurance Corporation of India, and the policy is allowed to lapse, the exemption a h an be l i a b le to bo cancelled.

Insurance Scheme, this Life Insurance Corporation of India

in all respect.

1. The employer In relation to each of the said establishment (hereinafter referred to as the employer) shall submit such returns to the Regional Prvldent Fund Comissioner concerned and maintain such account and provide such f a c u l t i es ror inspection, as the Central Provident i\ind Commissioner may direct from time to time.

2. The employer shall pay sach inspection charges as the Central Govt., may frcm time of time, direct undtr clause (a) Subsection (2A) of Seqtion 17 of the ©aid Act, within 15 days from the close of every month.

• All expenses Involved in the administration of the Group Insurance Scheme, including maintenance of account, submission of r e t u r n s, payment of insurance premia, transfer accounts, payment of inspection charges e t c. shall be born© bynthe employer.

4. The employer shall display on the Notice Board of the establishment, copy of the rules of the oroup Insurance Schen*¹ as approved by the Central Oovfe.rnme.ntj?Centrai Provident Fund Commissioner as and when amended alongwith translation of salient feature thereof in the language of the majority of the employees.

5. Whereas an employee, who ie already a member of the Employees. Provident fund or tht> Provident fund of an establishment exempted under the said Act, is employed In his establishment the employer shall immediately admit him as a member of the Group Insurance Scheme and pay necessary premium In respect of him to Life Insurance Corporation of India.

6,. The employer shall arrange to enhance the benefits available to the employees aunder the Group Xnsur&nce Scheme opproprately If the benefits available to the .-employees under asAd Scheme are enhanced so that the benefits available under Group Insurance Scheme are more favourable to the employees than tho benefits admissible under the said Scheme.

8. No amendment of the provisions of the Group Insurance Scheme shall be mad" without the prior approval of t*e- Regional Provident Fund Commissioner concerned and" where any amendment is likely to effect adversely the i n t e r e st of the employees his approval, give a reasonable opportunity to the employees to explain point of view.

9. Therefore any reason the employe^ of tho said establishment do not remain covered under the Group Insnurance Scheme of the Life Insurance Corporation of India as a ready adopted by the said establishment, for the benefits to the, employees under this scheme are recKiced In any manner, the exemption shall be liable to be cancelled.

10. Where for any reason, the employer fails to pay the premium e t c ., within the due date, as fixed by the Life insurance Corporation of India, and the policy is allowed to lapse, the exemption shall bo liable to be cancelled.

11. In case of default, if any made by the employer in payment of premium the responsibility for payment of assurance benefits to t^e nominee (s) Legal heir (s) of dticesaed member who would have been covered undvr the said Scheme but for grant of t h is exemption ahan be that of the employer.

in Scheduled -X (hereinafter referred to as the said establishment )

have applied for exemption under Sub-Section 2(X) of Saction 17

of tha Employaaa' Providant Fund and Miscellaneous Provisions Act,

1952 (19 of 1952) hereinafter referred to as the said Act.

The Central Provident Fund Conmissioner is satisfied that the

employees of the said establishments are without making any separate

contribution or payment of premium, in enjoyment of benefits under

the Oroup Insurance Schema of the Life Insurance Corporation of

India in the nature of Life Insurance which are more favour bale

to such employees than the benefits admissible under the employees'

Deposit Linked Insurance Scheme, 1976 (hereinafter referred to as

the said Scheme ).

Now, therefore, in exercised of the powers conferred *y

Sub-Section 2(M of the Section 17 of the said Act and subject

*to the conditions specified in Schedule*!! annexed hereto,

the Central Provident Fund commissioner hereby exempt, each of the

said mentioned establslhfnentsi in Schedule-I from the date mentioned
